We bought this chest a while ago but finally got around to putting it together. After only 3 days outside, and with no rain at all, the lid already split open. Extremely poor quality. Whish we had put it together when we first got it and found this out.

The media could not be loaded. I set this up at the end of last summer and took this video today (end of March). I live in Upstate NY and this lasted throughout the tough snowy winter we had. Waterproof for sure- refer to video. Sturdy and so easy to assemble. Lid shuts completely I didn’t even need a lock, but you can add a lock if need be.

It was all what I expected. Easy to build. I wish the wood panels were thicker and more robust, but otherwise a good buy.

Got this storage bin to store all our kids outside stuff and it has delivered beyond my expectations! Assembly was easy and it’s so sturdy! It looks great and holds more than I thought it would! It rained the first day we had it out and it is definitely waterproof - so that is awesome! I am loving it and thinking we need another for the front yard too!

Looks good but not made for outdoor use. After less than 1 year the wood split from expansion and contraction due to rain and dry weather. There was a big crack in lid after several days of dry wether that tightens up somewhat in wet weather but not enough to make it water tight.

Began to develop cracks in wood slats 2 weeks into ownership. Other people also complained about this in their reviews. I would only recommend this to people who know how to repair wood and can live with this issue
