Been in the construction industry for 25 years. Everything from running heavy equipment to framing to finishing concrete. There are a few essential tools that I rely on regardless of the task at hand. Tape measure, level, cordless impact driver, etc etc. You get the picture. A couple of weeks ago, after many weeks of reviewing all the different laser levels out there, including the rotating models, I pulled the trigger on the Bosch GLL3-330CG. After using it for a couple of weeks I only have one comment: How the heck did I get along without it all these years? I can confidently say that it has quickly become an essential tool for me. Where do I begin? Out of the box I was impressed with the workmanship and quality of this level. I firmly believe you get what you pay for when it comes to things like this. I didn't have to even read the instructions to begin using it - it's that simple and intuitive. The ability to pair it with my Iphone and remotely control it was fabulous! I strongly recommend getting the Bosch tripod to mount it on as it greatly enhances the flexibility of this unit. The green laser has to be seen to be believed. Truly astounding. I've used it to frame walls, lay out wall lines, check elevations, and square rooms. It is eye-opening the different tasks I've used this for. As far as accuracy is concerned, it's dead on. And I mean dead on! I can't say enough good things about this level. Even if you just dabble in construction products, I highly recommend looking into this. If you do construction for a living, then it's a no brainer.

My experience with laser guides is limited as I've always used tried-and-true old skool methods to keep me level and plumb. When I came upon the Bosch GLL3-330CG and read about it I was intrigued - so much so that I decided to modernize my methods and add it to my tool box. Right out of the gate I was pleasantly surprised as to how easy it was to set up. "Intuitive" is a good word for that. I ran the level all day for multiple days on various jobs and actually found myself smiling a lot as I appreciated the job it was doing helping me to do my jobs. It's a nice piece of technology - well built and packed very nicely in it's Bosch blue tough-case. Five stars for this!

I've been using this laser for some time now. I will say that it is well built, bright, and accurate. I use it mostly indoors for level lines while installing cabinetry, but have also used it outdoors with the optional receiver for setting grades. It does very well at both tasks. The Bluetooth connection is a nice idea, as it allows you to adjust the line brightness, which lines are active, as well as turn it on and off so you don't have to walk to the unit every time. My gripes: it constantly tells me that the coin cell battery needs to be changed, even after I've put a fresh one in. The "Cal Guard" always shows that I need to check the calibration. This unit rides in the padded case, in the hard case in my van. Both cases come with the unit. It has never been subjected to rough handling, jarring, or abuse. If anything, this thing is babied. One reason is that I take very good care of all of my tools, and two is just the expense of replacing it if it ever gets damaged. All of that to say that there is no reason for the Cal Guard to always be triggered. Other than those two annoyances, I still like the laser as a whole. If you need a solid laser that is accurate and bright, this one will fit your needs. I would definitely consider this overkill for a weekend DIYer or a homeowner looking to hang some pictures. Huepar, which I have used as well, makes a more affordable unit for those types of uses.

I stock these in multiple toolboxes at work. We use them to install and adjust medical lasers. I have seen other types of lasers that are more expensive and can't even place a line below the laser. This laser has proven itself to be very durable and accurate even after years of shipping them to many places internationally. The beams are bright, which will drain batteries, so have extra batteries on hand.

I used this to make a straight cut thru the asphalt in my driveway to lay a retaining wall for a flower bed. You can’t see the beam in direct sun light so you got to have the receiver to be effective. I recommend the tripod to secure the tool as u work. Indoors it is easy to see. Laying out my flower bed I used the receiver for some things and others processes I just went out there in the dark and it lit up all the way up the tree tops and across the roof. It’s got a lot of range. If you buy the receiver make sure you turn the receiver on as well as the receiver function button on the laser itself to get the receiver to pick up the line. I also like that Bosch included a rechargeable lithium battery and an adapter to allow u to pop in 4 AAs which is very convenient.

This is very easy to use and made even easier with Bosch's Leveling Remote app. This level should be a good compromise unit for use indoors and out and cheaper than the larger rotary levels for bigger site use. It partners well with the LR8 receiver for daylight use. It comes in a very sturdy plastic case with strong metal buckle fasteners. Since I suspec that many buyers also get the reciever, it is disappointing that the case wasnt made just a bit bigger to house that as well. Other than that, the GLL3-330CG appears to be Bosch's standard blend of decent cost and high quality.

This best in it’s category and with stretch payments it’s even easier. First unit was used and missing items. Returned that and bought another. This time brand new.

Excelente y muy profesional te un trabajo impecable

I've had this item now for about 5 months using it as a homeowner doing renovations. Prior to this the closest I had was a simple laser line with a bubble level built in and this item has been a game changer for me. It's definitely something I should have bought years ago. The lines are bright enough to see easily in full light over the longest distances I have in my house (though, I haven't used it outside). The lines are as square and level as any other tools I have. It comes with a 2.0 Ah battery and I have a second 3.0 Ah battery. I have found the battery life to be good, particularly with the 3.0 Ah battery and it lasts multiple days with on and off usage. I use it together with the Bosch BT 250 Tripod which works great for my situation. I haven't tried the Bluetooth features so I can't comment on those. Overall, would definitely recommend.

Great laser but wish the battery would last longer or at least came with 2 batteries instead of 1 have to recharge it every 2 hours
