Color Oops Extra Conditioning Hair Color Remover and Reconstructor Conditioner Bundle, 2 Pack, Hair Dye Remover Processes in 20 Minutes, Safely Removes Permanent & Semi-Permanent Dye

This works, but the rinsing time was absolutely boring. This was exactly how I used the product: I showered using only shampoo 24 hours prior. Applied 2 boxes of Color Oops, let sit for 20 mins, rinse like 30 seconds before applying shampoo (Sauve Almond and Shea Butter), quickly worked into a lather then 17 min rinsing. I then used shampoo every 5 mins for the next 15 mins. For good measure I rinsed 3 more mins before using Color Oops Reconstructor conditioner + Sauve Biotin Infusion. I let that sit for 11 min before rinsing 2 mins. Done. So the smell? It is ok, not as bad as every one made it out to be. Yes the next day my hair still has a faint smell similar to sulfur, and my bathroom is like a punch of sulfur eggs. My hair tolerated the product well (you can see how much hair I lost during the process which wasnt as bad as I thought). My hair definitely has some frizz now, and feels dry. I will be applying the Sauce brand Guacamole Whip Deep Moisture Hair Mask in the next two days to help put some moisture back in.

Really works! Took most of my Demi dark blonde out of my bleached hair. You definitely need to tone after.

It still bleaches your hair. NOT WORTH YOUR TIME AND MONEY

I had boxed dyed my hair black blue and this stuff did the trick in one treatment. It’s easy to use but just make sure to follow instructions. The smell is not the best but be patient and your hair will be back to normal in just a couple of washes.

Helped to get out the majority of the vivid color but was still left with some blue and purple after 2 rounds. I know those are colors that hold on strongest but I ended up needing to bleach it anyhow to get the rest out.

This worked pretty well for me. I followed the instructions to a T. I have dark ash blonde hair and had dyed it 2 shades darker over the past year with semi permanent dye. I got tired of dying my roots and wanted to try and get closer to my natural color without bleaching. I did have to tone my hair after I used the color remover but that was no surprise based off other reviews I read. I was successfully able to get my hair pretty close to my natural color! The pics are before color remover, after and then the top 2 are after toning. Make sure you use an ash/ cool tone to remove the brassy tone.

Giving 3 stars only because it didn’t come with a cap which is required in one of the steps to hold heat in. It didn’t pull any color from my hair but I didn’t have the cap and I don’t think I let it sit the full 20 minutes - I did around 15 minutes by accident. I’m not sure if the extra 5 minutes would have made a huge difference or not though, but the cap might have.
