Great product if low output pressure is acceptable for your end-use.
The product appears to be well made and was well packged for delivery by Amazon. It was foolish on my part to not consider before buying the filter that there would be a significant drop in water pressure with the filter installed. I think for applications that the filter was designed for, the product would be very good.

Seems like a good filter, but plastic feels flimsy.
Bought this to be placed, as an inline stationary filter, on my Chestnut tree irrigation. As a stationary unit (it will be strapped to the side of a concrete block building) it should not have the cracking/breaking problem I've seen in several review photos.Upon receipt of the filter, I noted that the plastic does feel flimsy. I'm taking extra steps to eliminate that possibility with a 2-part plastic safe epoxy resin build-up around the area of the threads to reinforce and resist cracking/breaking.I tested the water without the filter first for PH, total dissolved solids, and Electrical Conductivity. Results: PH = 7.84, TDS = 312, EC = 624 - First photo which shows part of the Boogie Blue Plus filterI then attached the filter to the hose, and flushed 5gallons of water through the filter, then retested. Results: PH= 7.42, TDS = 287, EC = 593 - filter not shown because it was attached to the water hoseI find the PH change intriguing, others have posted an increase in PH (more alkaline) while mine shows a decrease in PH (more acidic) which is good for Chestnuts. It does appears to be filtering out a least something, as my testers show a reduction in both TDS and EC.

works great
I'm using this to replace water in a tiny pond with fish during our dry summer months (they need water added every day or two from evaporation, and my rain barrels ran out). It's very important that chlorine and other contaminants are removed from the water prior to adding it to the pond. I've been adding water from the hose to containers and putting treatment chemicals in before dumping the buckets into the pond, which is a huge pain and probably not the best for the fish. I saw another review where they said the water didn't test well after using this filter, so I did my own test with water testing stips and it came back as good as the filtered water I drink at home. I'll come back and edit if the fish get sick, but it seems to work well. I'll also be using it for my vegetable garden until it starts raining again.

NOT AS ADVERTIZED
Sorry to say it wasn't as advertised. The ad states it's a "4.5 gpm Flow Rate". However, upon receiving the filter, it is stamped right on the side..."Max Flow Rate = 0.5 gpm". I had to return it and look for another brand,Also, it took about a week for delivery. So if the Flow Rate is still okay for you, be aware of the shipping time.
