We absolutely love this 12V refrigerator! We’ve used it while camping, hanging out with friends, and at family gatherings, and it’s been fantastic. One of the biggest benefits is not having to buy bags of ice or deal with melted water soaking everything. It cools quickly, keeps food and drinks at a consistent temperature, and has plenty of room for everything we need. It’s easy to transport and has performed reliably every time we’ve used it. If you spend time camping, traveling, or attending outdoor events, this electric cooler is well worth the investment.

This little fridge is great. We have used it to go to the beach and on the boat and in both cases it impressed us. We set it to 36 the night before and it froze all the items we had on that side. It having a freezer and fridge side is very convenient. We drove to the beach, and we didn't even hear the fridge turning on during the ride. We were at the beach all day and by the time we left , temp was only up to 56. By the time we drove back it was at 36 again. On the boat, we had in plugged in. We overnighted and it turned on a few times, it was a low hum which didnt bother us at all, and battery consumption was negligible. Definitely recommend.

I have had a couple of DC powered coolers. My use case is camping, keeping food and beverages cold during extended transport, and indoor use over holidays and travel. Each requirement poses different needs. If you use a battery generator for power, efficiency is important to extend battery life and run duration. Good temperature control for beverages and food means things are not freezing or getting too warm. Indoor operation demands quiet operation. In my experience, lesser coolers have no control over temperature and can be noisy. I reviewed the options for a powered cooler with a thermostat and temperature display, two separate sides maybe to use one side for frozen foods, and focusing on users reporting power efficiency and quiet operation. The Bodega is in a middle sweet spot for cost and perceived value. I think the reviews are correct. First off, I tested this inside on the AC connection using house power and a Jackery Explorer 1000 v2 portable power station. Operation was fully manual, without the app (app not covered in this review). From 75F to 40F on the MAX mode took 12 minutes with either the house outlet or Jackery; about 30 minutes to stabilize at -5F. The generator was showing 60W output in that time, and then cycled on and off. In ECO mode, heading down to -5F freezer mode, it took a couple of hours to reach final temp. Once cold, at 0-40F, in ECO mode, the external generator cycles at 0-30W. In the real world, with ambient temps between 50-75F outside, the Jackery dropped from 100% to 82% over a two day, two night camping trip with both compartments at 40F. I thought that was very efficient, and provided confidence that if I needed to store food overnight in a parked vehicle with the generator there would be no concerns. I cooled one side to -5F for freezing to store ice cream acquired from a location where I vacationed. I used my generator to hold temperature with occasional lid opening. The idle op temp held for 3 days moving the generator to 25% by the time I got home. (Ambient temp 60-70F). Ice cream frozen solid all that time. It would be easy to keep it longer with some cycles of running off an AC – DC outlet in a vehicle and charging the generator. One last thing, maybe the most important to me beside operational temps. The cooling system is very quiet, nearly silent when running on Idle mode. I love this Bodega refrigerator. No more ice. Perfect control. Great visible display. Configurable storage capacity.

This is a pretty solid product. We're happy with it. Seems to be well made and performs well. It's quiet when running and it doesn't run all the time. Insulation is good. Power management works well. It's 12v only so needs a power brick to plug into line voltage. Suggestion to improve: 1. Make the wheels bigger so it rolls over rough (camping) ground better. 2. Make the handle 8" longer so that it can better be used by tall people without having to crowtch and pull.. .( It works fine for shorter people. Temp setting. and control is great. Size is ideal. Lots of space for food and beer. Not too heavy for a reasonable person to lift into a car. We made a canvas velcro stick-on pouch to manage the power cable/brick, which took an hour. Such a pouch would be a good std adder...

It’s a great freezer, but you cannot put eggs the long way in the 53Q fridge/freezer. It def needs to be at an angle. It is small, but it’s perfect for what I needed. The thing that made me make it 4 stars is that you need WIFI to use the app. Most apartments and places that have WIFI have fridges/freezers 🤦🏼‍♀️ and a lot of people can’t afford starlink. my Anker c1000 system doesn’t need WIFI and has an app, so it is possible to make an app without WIFI. That’s a huge downside. It’s deep which is nice! And it cools down pretty fast. It’s been about 15 minutes and it started at 95F and now it’s at 56F And I like that it has a cute light so I can see at night as well. Overall, I would buy it again.

First used it for a weekend camping trip and it came in clutch. The temperature of the two refrigerators is adjusted separately, and the lowest setting can be -4 degrees. The refrigerated and frozen food can be placed separately. It is very suitable to bring this refrigerator for self-driving tours. Its configuration is also very reasonable. There is a common socket and a car socket. the cooler fits enough food for a long weekend without any issues and keeps everything cold! This size is perfect for the car without taking up too much room

Absolutely worth every penny! We own two of these portable freezers and use them constantly—for work, travel, beach days, and family outings. They perform flawlessly and are incredibly convenient. The cooling performance is outstanding, they're incredibly practical, and they're so easy to take anywhere. Everything stays perfectly cold. When we had a minor issue with one of them, Customer Care was fantastic. They responded right away and took care of everything quickly. Outstanding product backed by outstanding service. Highly recommend!

We purchased this 5 years ago and it has worked great since day one! Very sturdy and sleek. It holds more than I thought it would. Temperature remains very constant and since it’s in a bay slide it uses less electricity. It also has an app so you can check the temperature of the unit from anywhere. I definitely highly recommend this product and their customer service answers right away!

Good frige freezer. Works well for 2 years

We bought this to take on trips, both camping and long distance driving. Works as advertised except for the app. Makes for a good second fridge/cooler when camping in our small trailer, and extends what can be brought when set to freezer mode. As stated, the app basically sucks. Yes, it does connect via Bluetooth, but you (get this) NEED to be connected to WiFi or the Bluetooth does not work. WTF? Found this out on our first trip when I wanted to adjust the temperature via the app. It would not connect. Thankfully you can do all your adjustments on the built-in control panel. The app said I was not connected to the WiFi network that was used to access the cooler with Bluetooth. This is NOT how this should work. If this is how Bluetooth worked, I would never be able to use my phone in my car hands free. And the 'support' on their website and the app store of your choosing (Android for us, but I also looked at the Apple store and there were the same exact complaints) is lacking at best. I really do recommend this fridge. Just avoid the app.
