Wow. Impressive.
I will definitely purchase again! I usually purchase any Starbucks dark roasted coffee, i.e., Sumatra, Verona, etc. I have been using a Keurig for the last several years simply because of the convenience. But, I recently went back to drip coffee pot which is actually healthier than k-pod coffee. I blind bought this coffee because I was able to get it on the same day. I am impressed. I take my coffee very seriously, I love bold aromatic dark coffee, and this is wonderful. So far, no nausea from acidity, which is an A++++! I hope this review is helpful.

Great Value!
I have this on auto-ship so I don’t ever have to worry about running out of coffee. My daughter insists if I only do one organic food, it must at least be coffee! So I am an obedient mother, but where else am I going to get my organic coffee for less than $10 a package? Thank you, Amazon!

Surprisingly pretty good
This was actually surprisingly pretty good for the price. I overlooked this because of the price, PLUS the fact that the last time I tried a cheaper Amazon brand ground coffee. It was so disgusting, that I ended up throwing the entire bag away the same day I got it. It was THAT bad. It tasted like woodchips mixed with cardboard. Tasted nothing like coffee. This one is supposed to be certified organic non-Gmo. Compared to the other. Which is what I tend to stick with most of the time as it just simply tastes better.I simply could not afford any more of my previous coffee grounds. Things are extremely tight. So I looked at this and the ratings. Generally I go for basic medium roast. However I do like Sumatra, and though Sumatra is generally listed under dark roast, I've had Sumatra listed under medium roast.Seeing that the medium had acidity to it, and it was described as tart. That is a huge No-No for my taste. As I prefer deeper, richer, and more chocolatey undertones to my coffee. I hate fruity acidic coffee.Sumatra is supposed to have that. So even though I generally do not get dark coffee in fear of it just tasting like burnt ash. I went with it.I will say this, if Amazon doesn't price gouge me in the future. And suddenly Jack the price up to like $14, like someone else said they did to them ( it's already increased a dollar in less than 24 hours after buying it) .Then I will return and stick to this until I have more money to afford a higher quality one. However this one is acceptable. It does have a mild chocolatey like undertone to it. But it's not as strong and rich as some that I've had before that were more expensive. But it's good enough to satisfy me. It has an acceptable bitterness to it, maybe a little bit more than I would prefer. But again it's acceptable. I like a mild amount of bitterness as it helps with the illusion of a type of dark chocolate flavor.I agree with someone else, that you might need to add a little extra more depending on your taste to get the flavor you want. The Best Brands that I had required much less and were very concentrated. So if you want to make sure you have enough flavor. Make sure you add extra, more than your default higher quality one.I do get the complaint about packaging. Mine came with some grounds that had escaped out of the bag. Via the little hole in the front. It also just opened up really weird and was a struggle. I had to end up cutting it open and then being creative with it to close it back. Thankfully mine did not taste stale. But I will take the measures that I need to to keep air from getting to it and ruining it.Again amazon, if you do not Jack the price up. I will stick to this brand for right now as an affordable brand of coffee. Because Lord knows I cannot afford to spend 15$ to $24 a bag for coffee anymore. However I can afford $6.

Dark and spicy. Starbucks-like.
I usually try to buy single origin coffees such as this organic fair trade Sumatra. It has a deep dark almost burnt taste similar to Starbucks Verona and Sumatra. I prefer it a little lighter such as Whole Foods Pacific Rim medium-dark blend, but this is a good coffee if you like it spicy and dark but just short of French or Italian roasts.
