Q: Will this work for the Air sense 11 as well?

Hello. Bottom dimensions about 12.5" x 5.5" (L x W), so the backpack could fit Air sense 11.

Q: Does the lower compartment where the cpap is stored doe it have thick padding to protect cpap form damage when traveling? thank you!

I never check my cpap when flying. I would say the padding is enough to protect the cpap when using the backpack as a carry-on. I’ve been very happy with my backpack and often carry my iPad or laptop in the back pocket too.

Q: Does the bag have straps to enable it to be connected on top of a rolling suitcase or carryon bag?
