CMC Thumb Brace, Shape-memory Restriction Splint for Thumb Joint

I have wrist arthritis and am a woodworker so finding a product that allows good comfort and support as well as mobility is important. I have medical grade supports, which worked great, but reduced my mobility and insurance would not cover replacement. I tried (a lot) other braces from Pharmacies but they did not work, were not comfortable or offer mobility. These looked very minimal, but had great reviews and good price. I was pleasantly surprised how well these have worked, for so little material the support is excellent, no pain, and the mobility is great. Very happy with these, offer a good balance of support and mobility.

I purchased this thumb brace to replace another style that came apart where the two materials were joined together. I don't think it was made to be used for mechanic type work. I have severe arthritis in both hands and this brace enables me to use my hands more while working in my garage. This brace is all one piece and I like the way it comes down over my thumb base further. This style gives me more support due to more coverage. I would recommend.

TOO BULKY. It got warm after wearing it for a while, and I was hoping for something more breathable for daily wear. It wasn't the right fit for me, and I expected more for the price.

The least bulky and most inconspicuous thumb brace I’ve found and actually works. My only complaint is that it has a tendency to dig into the curved space between the thumb and pointer. Make sure you measure and get the right fit.

Great brace! It keeps my sore thumb secured and prevents from bending over while at work. Easy to use and not too stiff, leaves pretty good mobility of my hand. Thank you

I think they label the hands incorrectly. It works much better when I place right one on the left hand. I will check with my physical therapist to confirm before I return it. It caused pain on the right hand. Update: returned flimsy and cause more pain.

saw someone with a similar brace. Thought it would work for me...but not so much.

Very sturdy grey/black thumb brace. Thumb feels supported in it. It has a Velcro adjustment that goes around the hand. I ordered a medium as my hand width is 7.5 inches and glad I didn’t go any smaller. It is easy to apply and wear. Can be hand washed at 30 degrees.
