Good price, I bought a key cutting machine from Amazon for like $130 dollars. After the first set of keys the machine pay for its self. If you have a little bit of hand tool skill you can work the machine too, the machine needs to be messed with an adjusted a bit might need to rig on the fly depending on what your need is.This is an update but I don't see my original review so maybe not. After cutting the blanks to fit your ignition, even if it's not perfect they will work. After you program the key fobs you will need a scan tool with immobilizer function. The sequence to program the fobs goes as follows.1. Have all keys with you I believe up to three fobs can be added. That's what I did anyway 3 including the original.2. Get in close all doors3.The next step needs to be done quickly. Put original key into ignition and turn ignition to run position and push the unlock button on the key in the ignition. Rotate key to off position do this two more times make sure you hit the unlock button on the key fob ever time you go into the on position.4. On the forth time rotate key to on, hit the unlock you should hear the car lock and unlock. Right after the locks cycle. Click the unlock button on the third fob the lock cycle will go again if you've done it right.

I purchased these as a much more affordable alternative to the overpriced stealership offerings for my 2012 Ford Focus hatchback.Programming to unlock the doors / trunk was easy. Getting them cut (dual sided shallow cut, unlike a house key) requires either dealership OR a locksmith to cut. I tried local hardware store with no success due to the dual sided shallow cuts.Be advised a lot of dealerships WILL NOT cut an “aftermarket” key…. Because you got it for a reasonable price and didn’t line their pockets - so if they are your only option, call and check ahead of time!!Once keys were cut, they would fit the ignition and turn power on but *NOT* start the car. I had to intervene with ForScan software and a special OBD to USB scanner to use with the software (yes a laptop will be necessary if ForScan is required). After following an easy tutorial on YT and 30~sh minutes, I was able to add both keys to my vehicle and they work flawlessly.If you go the ForScan route, there is a full feature free trial you can utilize to save a couple bucks.Good luck!

Great price for a set of keys

Took to a locksmith as suggested when only having one original key. They cut the keys and TRIED to program them. Sadly they could not. Ended up spending $112 to have 2 keys cut. Would have cost $50 just to cut the keys, but since they spent 45 minutes trying to program them, they charged me another $60. Attached are pics of the attempt to program them. Makes no sense to me, just know it was a BIG waste of money. I dont want to return them, as would need to pay AGAIN to cut them... at least, and that cost is double the refund. Total waste of money.... BEWARE!!!!

Worked perfect for when I got my new car key made!

Nice affordable set of keys. I had a locksmith create spare car keys for me after ordering these and they work great! They were able to program them within 30 minutes and all the buttons work. I did notice with the trunk button you have it like 3-4 times consecutive for it open with the key fob

I bought these keys and was able to program the lock / unlock function with the help of a Youtube video.I only had one of the original keys so I had to take them to a locksmith (Ford is way too expensive) to have the car's computer programmed to work with their transponders. The locksmith charged me $140 all in for both keys. He said it's the same to program 2 keys as it is 1 as his computer is plugged in to the odb thingy anyway.Very happy with the keys as the look and function like the originals

Easy for my locksmith to cut to match the existing car key but I had to use my Forscan software to program it to the vehicle so that the PATS system would recognize it.
