After two decade, my old DeWalt drill finally earned its retirement. I replaced it with this current tool set, and the leap in technology is incredible. This was a really great purchase, the drill was a neat not too big but not too small drill to have around the house for any renovation need. It’s easy to use and feels sturdy not cheap and flimsy.

These are Dewalt quality. Well made and works great, I went from 18v to 20v and they are strong. Very happy with the size and power. I have used Dewalt for many years and most of my tool I work very hard, so far all I have still works.

This is a fantastic set. From what I understand it is not a genuine Dewalt... I don't care, the drill and hammer drive are strong and the battery life is fantastic. I can't recommend it enough.

Far too early to talk about quality/reliability but initial impressions are great. Ergonomics, performance and design. Notably, ~$130 for an impact wrench, drill *and* two batteries with a charging dock from a trusted supplier? Yes please. The burning smell others reported was something I experienced. I haven't started the project I bought these for and experienced it only after briefly testing the impact driver. Guessing, maybe a residual chem left over from the manufacturing process? I've experienced this with an electrical/mechanical automotive product, expect that it will dissipate. They feel less substantial/lighter than the my (still working) ~24yr old DeWalt 14.4v drill/14.4v trim saw/18v sawzall kit but this isn't necessarily an indicator of quality/durability. Most likely, an evolution of design and materials. I guess. Sadly, only sketchy aftermarket batteries are available for 14.4v and 18v tools. DeWalt provides an adapter for their 18v tools but not for the 14.4v tools. In both cases, too many compromises for continued use, time to move on to the 20v ecosystem. Next up, a 20v trim saw. For commercial use, I'd buy further up the line. For the weekend warrior, these may be everything you need. Great starter set/gift for first time home buyers. The selling point is the brand. Trust is hard won and a never ending struggle for manufacturers to maintain but so far for me, Dewalt's delivered. Happy customer, highly recommended.

I use these two items all the time. They are great tools.

I love Dewalt tools. I already had a drill among other told, I bought this set for the impact driver, the batteries and charger. The driver has enough power to drill concrete and stones, the battery lasted for a while. The only thing is that these batteries don't have the charger display to see how much battery life is left on them. Overall I'm very please with them. The handles are comfortable, they both fit on my hard case from my other drill.

Do not buy this if you live in the UK. I have no idea whether this item is good or bad. It came with what appears to be an American charger. There was no warning on the box or the charger that this would fail if plugged into the UK mains.
