Needed some new comics for while i travel so i decided to get the first volume of hellboy as it was recommended by my boyfriend. the book came with scratches and dents as well as quite a bip rip on the back off the book. it doesn't irritate me as much as it would to others, but for the price is shouldn't come in that quality. but if you want a good read, hellboy is a good read.

Great book, but be careful
Get some covers for this. Good value, great story but the cover is too thin and easy to damage

Gorgeous, clever, but somehow leaves you a little cold.
Beautifully drawn and intriguing stories that provide a welcome break from the DC/Marvel duopoly, but perhaps not something that you'd feel the need to read again any time soon.

Don’t buy these from Amazon if you want a high quality product.
If you’re going to buy this edition of hellboy, please don’t do it on amazon. Do it at a store where you can see the physical book you’re buying, because Amazon don’t care about the quality of the goods they’re sending you, they’ll throw it into a box, tear it, scuff it, whatever. It’s not worth paying to get a book with the cover torn, which I learned the hard way when my copy was delivered with precisely that. Anyway yeah, the stories in the book are great, can’t go wrong with Mignola, but this paperback edition isn’t good and the handling was even worse on Amazon’s end.

Value for money.
Really good value for money as it contains several comics in one volume. Just a shame the item came damaged and scuffed in the corners.

Promises, promises
Very disappointing, despite having to pay more to order a supposed new copy I have received a copy with both covers torn and badly scratched.Deliver what you promise, if you’re going to have the audacity to deliver sub-quality items after making customers pay more then I pity your career on this platform.I was also disappointed there was no clear way to contact this seller; as I originally wished to have dealt with this one-to-one. Do not buy if you want good quality.

Immersive & impressive
Absorbing writing, gorgeous art style through out and resoundingly imaginative. Will be buying the following volumes for sure.
