I put up all the genres on my library wall and the kids love reading their choices of what to read next. Good quality card stock paper. I also laminated them, so they last a long time!

There a few genres missing… action/adventure and biography are two of the bigger ones missing that I need for my library… if the manufacturer ever adds these 2, they would be complete!

These genre posters are a great reference in my classroom. My students love them and so do I. Really nice quality and designs.

Oh gosh I am SO disappointed in these posters! I don’t know if they were created by AI, translated from another language, or just created by an ignoramus. These posters are horrible! Punctuation missing, grammatical errors, inconsistent listing of examples of the genre…. For instance, almost all of the posters have a story or author listed as an example of that genre, except the mystery genre. Nothing listed. Really, how about Agatha Christie? And you couldn’t come up with a better example than Robin Hood so you used it for both “Legend” AND “Folktale”? There’s thousands of legends and folktales out there, but you were too lazy to find another example so you just slapped the same example on both? 🤦‍♀️ It’s such a shame, because the posters are well made and very pleasant to look at. I love the artistic style. However, I will either have to rewrite these by pasting new sentences over the current words to correct the bad grammar, or I will just have to make an alternative up myself on Canva. Not worth the money; these posters can NOT be used to teach literary genres.

I thought these posters are absolutely stunning. They just give a quick definition of different literary genres, and then they recommend something you might be able to read in that genre. But it's a jumping-off point anyway.I really enjoy the way these look - they're so subtle and love the greenery on the posters. They're good quality, and I LOVE the price! Highly recommend.
