This is absolutely fantastic! I live in Gloucestershire and the rain here, when it comes, is of Biblical proportions. My little cat, Lady Arwen, LOVES being outside as we're surrounded by fields and has now taken to sleeping outside at night. The rain recently has been torrential, so I had to do something. I looked at the wooden 'cat kennels' and those foam jobs: the former would leak and rot; the latter would simply blow away in the gale-force winds we also have. I usually loathe anything plastic, but this is a really intelligent design; it's just a single piece of very strong moulded plastic, so it can't leak, can't rot, will be dead easy to clean and, at 4kg, won't blow away. The 'porch' also leans downwards at a slight angle from the perpendicular and the door is set a little further back, so there's added protection from the elements. I've shoved it amongst some vegetation that the little Lady usually shoots beneath when it rains; now she has her own little house. I was worried at first as to whether she'd take to it as it's the same shape as her detested pet-carrier. I left it in the kitchen so she could sniff it and then put in an old dressing-gown which a) she always loves to treadle, and b) gives me an excuse to buy myself a new one. Within minutes she was inside and fast asleep with it in the kitchen. When she decided she wanted to go out to eviscerate a mouse or three, I put it into its new location. She's in there now, curled up and fast asleep. My only reservation is that, for some reason, there's a 'trench' about an inch across and deep running the entire length of the base inside. I tore up a side of the cardboard box in which it came and placed it over the entire inner base, and then put the dressing-gown on top; it seems to have worked thus far. All in all, Lady Arwen is happy which means I am. It may be pricey at £55, but I know it'll last for years and years.

I bought two of these for my parents' indoor/outdoor cats. I also bought self-warning mats to made the inside a little cozier. Typically I would only put straw in an outside cat house, but given the shelter of the roof overhang and the fact that this is moulded from a single piece of plastic with no seams that may leak, I was less concerned about water getting in and freezing. Both cats LOVED them, and use them regularly. I think it makes them feel safe and also gives them excellent shelter from the elements. I know they're a little pricey, but given the construction and sturdiness, I really think they're excellent value for money.

I’m am absolutely delighted with this outside cat house!!! It is big and very well made. It’s worth every penny and I would highly recommend. My cat is now warm and dry. Plenty of room for my cat to turn around and also have a stretch. This is very sturdy so won’t blow over in the wind. I love the colour 100% recommended ***** Well packaged and delivery was super quick.

Dark green colour blends into the bushes well. Bought for an outdoor cat to use who refuses to come in. Only just purchased, so waiting for cat to visit it. Made all in one piece so it's waterproof and the generous opening allows you to clean it well enough. I'm happy with product, hope the cat will be.

I bought this wee cat house for a stray cat i have been feeding since January, I've decided to keep the cat and i wanted something for it to have shelter from the bad weather, i didn't know if the cat would even use it,fortunately it has ,the cat loves it.I have a blanket inside it to keep it nice and warm, this cat house is great,it's a good size and it's made from moulded plastic so it keeps the cat nice and dry as it doesn't let rain in,5 stars from my cat and myself.

Perfect Cat loves it

This is for my cat who like to sit out in the garden . so I haveing his own little cat house. He loves it plus he is sheltered and safe 👍 . Yes, it’s a little bit expensive I had looked at this before Yes it’s a little bit expensive I had looked at this before I couldn’t really afford it. What is a middle-aged cat now so I saved up and now he’s so happy in his little house I couldn’t really afford it. Well worth the money. Looks exactly like the picture. Strong, sturdy, insulated, easy to clean, good size for my big cat. Bought for the cat to retreat to when he's out hunting overnight, as we don't have a cat flap. Within a few days he was using it: he now trots out of it every morning when we get up and call him in! I bought a £7.99 'self-heating mat' for it, and added a piece of an old yoga mat inside the cover, to add some comfort. Works well.
