Admire Shell Brand
Believe it or not Shell Oil gives best engine performance. I am using shell engine oil over past 10 years. And my engine quality remains above average. I also ensure I use shell petrol whenever possible.

Best engine oil I ever tried
Got it for my YAMAHA FZS V2. After changing it was buttery smooth drive. Waiting for an increased mileage output from this oil. Gear shift smoothness has increased very noticeable.

Good, but not great.
Oil quality is average. But okey at this price. If you are ready to spend little more money for your bike, go for fully synthetic oil (motul , liqui moly or other brands) it will give much better and smoother performance and reliability on your bike. Taking about millage, in my opinion: i don't think a better oil gives a better mileage. It completely dependents up on your ridingstyle and how you going to manage first breaking period. Delivery speed is normal. I'm a prime member but i don't felt any difference. 😒 Package was good 👍.

Best for commuter bikes upto 125cc bikes
I have been using Shell 10W-40 semi-synthetic engine oil in my Passion XPro. The experience is good. It is better than the mineral oil that Hero uses. I have also used Castrol Power 1 Ultimate fully synthetic engine oil of the same grade. The differences I noticed after using this oil are- 1. The bike felt more refined. The vibrations that creep in at 60kmph with mineral oil will not be felt prominently and it runs smoother even at 80kmph with very few vibrations. 2. Bike achieved a top speed of 90kmph without much effort which can not be imagined with mineral oil. 3. It runs at least 3000km unlike mineral oil whose maximum range is 2500km. 4. The sound of the exhaust is comparatively less loud even at high speed and smoother as compared to mineral oil. Why it is better than Castrol Power 1 Ultimate - 1. The viscosity of Castrol is more than enough for a 110cc commuter bike and hence the engine is not as free-revving as it is with semi-synthetic engine oil. Hence the clutch plates take a toll and they need to be replaced earlier than usual. 2. The overtakes feel cumbersome as the bike needs more time to gain speed. 3. It is more expensive than Shell's semi-synthetic engine oil. The only plus side of using Castrol was it eliminated nearly all the vibrations even at the top speed because of its high viscosity. As far as mileage is concerned, I didn't feel any considerable difference between a mineral, semi-synthetic, and fully synthetic engine oil. So in my opinion, if you have a commuter bike and you want a little bit more out of your bike's engine, then always go for semi-synthetic engine oil instead of a mineral or fully synthetic engine oil. Things to remember - 1. Your bike (especially its engine) must be in a good condition to feel the difference i.e, regularly serviced. 2. If you are making a switch to semi-synthetic from a mineral for the first time, then you need to give a bike at least the first 500km run time for the engine to adapt to the new engine oil. You will not be able to the difference immediately.
