What a book!!! Salesman selling papercups build a billion dollar quick service restaurant chain. I appreciate Ray Krocs timeless efforts to build a Mcdonalds. Anyone can learn a teamwork from Ray Kroc. His "Think Big" mentality helps Mcdonalds expand all over the world.If you think small, you will stay small. He says " If you want a financial freedom, you have to take great risk's". I am working with one emerging quick service restaurant brand & all the points mentioned by Mr. Kroc are too much relavevent in these days. Hats Off too Mr. Ray Kroc!!!

A fantastic read for all business people and enthusiasts.Shows us how Ray Kroc made it big at the age of 52 when most people start contemplating their retirement.How he started off selling paper cups, playing piano to make ends meet and then got a break with the advent of multimixers.Ray Kroc only intended to sell more multi mixers to the McDonald's brother. But destiny had something else written all together.Being at the right place and at the right time and making use of the opportunity at that very moment paid off well.How he conceived the franchisee​ system and how he eventually purchased the McDonald's chain from the brothers is absolutely scintillating.As Ray Kroc said , there is no substitute for persistence and determination.Think big and make it big. You think small, you remain small.A must buy I would say! No second thoughts.

I haven't read the whole book, but it is very interesting and informative book. Motivational and inspirational and detailed.

Pursuation to a profitable retail chain.

This book is about Ray kroc journey towards building mcdonalds. First 5 chapters starts from his childhood to his jobs before mcdonalds, this book can be read as a novel with little bussiness side, I buyed thinking it is about franchise system and real estate deep knowledge knitted with McDonald's. Who wants one whole chapter about French fry recipie and just one paragraph on business model.

A good read! Explains what it took for a paper cup salesman to expand an enterprise set up by MacDonald brothers world wide.

Who knew? Ray Kroc! The man with an indomitable spirit that wouldn’t let the haters hold him down. His unrelenting belief in the good of others and that good things will happen is infectious! I went to celebrate by eating at McDonald’s. Sadly, it was not as cool as it seemed to be in the past but the franchises live on grinding out burgers and money. Thanks for such an uplifting story Ray!

At the end of the day, success is measured by the $ you have. And if 54 years old mediocre salesman with diabetes took courage, worked hard, and did not give up to make his dream happen!! then we should too!There are some serious knowledge about sales and business development techniques, so its a bargain for its price, and absolutely must read for someone whos starting a business or just wants to win in life!
