Useful conceptual primer, but more "AI appreciation" than actionable skills.
This book offers an accessible, jargon-free intro to AI concepts—helpful for absolute beginners. However, its "master AI in 7 days" claim is wildly overstated, and the non-coding projects feel superficial. While it demystifies basics like algorithms and ethics, it lacks depth for practical application. A decent starting point, but temper expectations for real mastery.

Clear, confidence building intro to ai for true beginners
This guide shines at breaking big ideas into simple, digestible pieces, so terms like machine learning, neural networks, and NLP finally click without the math headache. The pacing is friendly, the writing is plainspoken, and the seven day structure gives you small wins that build momentum. I especially appreciated the focus on ethics and practical, non coding skills alongside hands on exercises, useful whether you’re testing tools for work or just getting oriented. If you’ve been curious about AI but intimidated by jargon, this is an accessible starting point that helps you understand the landscape and points you to good next steps.

An invigorating and relevant read
There's no better time than now to be well versed in the tidal wave of new technological advancements coming our way. Through the use of AI as recommended through his book, it encourages analytical thinking through the process of learning how to create a chatbot. The author gives many great insights along the way. I felt like his list of resources was also highly valuable for being one step ahead of the game. I would only suggest that the AI learning curve promoted in this book seems to be more geared towards Python/coding, as opposed to leveraging on AI for content creation, which I think is a different relevant interest. Also, although a very interesting read, I think he gives great resources but doesn't provide straightforward enough information in the book itself. Nonetheless I still enjoyed it and think it's an invigorating read to keep us up to date on the capabilities, ethical concerns and even limitations of AI, which is capable of sparking several important conversations for our day. Thank you for creating a book that acknowledges this.

Another entry on my quest to finally understand and use AI – properly. I’ve read a few things, but I’m still unsure, so this really fit the bill. The author did a fantastic job of breaking the concept of AI down to something that I could understand. The exercises in this book also made it totally fun to understand what is happening. Also – the ethics of AI were interesting and something I did need the primer on. If you’re ready to get started with this new tech, give this book a start!

This book is perfect if you’ve been curious about AI but felt totally lost with all the complicated jargon. The author keeps things really approachable and doesn’t assume you’ve got a tech background, which makes the lessons easy to follow. The fact that it’s laid out in a 7 day plan makes it feel manageable and less intimidating. It’s also pretty cool that it focuses on non coding skills so you can actually play around with AI projects without needing to be a programmer. What I liked most is how it connects AI to everyday life. It explains stuff like voice assistants and automation in a way that finally makes sense, and the examples from healthcare and marketing make it feel really relevant. The exercises and templates are a nice bonus too because they keep you engaged instead of just reading. If you’re looking for a simple but effective introduction to AI, this book feels like a great place to start.
