I shampoo, condition, and after conditioning, while hair is still dripping wet, I apply one or two squints to each side of my hair and squish out the moisture, then microfiber towel dry, then hover with blowdryer. It gives body and curl definition without making it stringy or a hard cast. It took trial and error to find this is what works for my fine curls. I don't apply anything else to it afterwards. I do have to add I don't like the new age mumbo jumbo I have seen in their advertising of the product.

I use this mousse in combination with a curl cream, and it works great! It helps keep the frizz to a minimum, and feels lightweight in my hair. It smells great (I’ve gotten lots of compliments on how good my hair smells!), and even the small bottle has lasted a long time. I’ll buy more when my current bottle runs out!

I absolutely love the INNERSENSE Organic Beauty Styling Foam! I’ve struggled with heavy creams weighing my curls down, but this foam is the perfect solution. It provides great curl definition without feeling heavy or sticky. I’ve found that using it in combination with a gel has become my ultimate curly hair routine.What I also love is that when I don’t feel like doing a full styling session, I can just use this foam for some control and definition in my curls. It’s easy to apply and leaves my hair looking natural and bouncy. Highly recommend it for anyone with curly hair looking for a light, yet effective product!

This stuff is tricky!When they say 1-2 pumps, they're not kidding (which is crazy when you're used to using giant handfuls of product). I use one pump of this (seriously!) as a "top coat" over the Innersense "I create lift" volume foam and it really does help to add some serious definition.If I use MORE than one pump, this stuff gets EXCEPTIONALLY FILMY. Leaves a slightly sticky, slightly greasy, slightly stringy feeling on my hair. Still working out the perfect proportions to get the best results, but it's promising. Definitely a unique formula, certainly does what it says.I find it works best if you treat it almost like a curl cream and emulsify it in your hands before lightly scrunching it into wet hair. Might try mixing it with a little additional water for better distribution.It DOES seem to make hair dry a little more slowly.It's GOOD, but it's UNUSUAL and definitely has a learning curve I wasn't expecting.For reference: 3b-ish very fine, fairly thin, chin-length hair.

The best holding hair mousse I have ever used

I really wanted to like this product. Many other mousses I’ve used have a really strong scent, so I was looking for something that was unscented or lightly scented, had cleaner ingredients, and would provide definition/hold for my type 4 curls. I used this for a braid out. While this product had the mild scent I was looking for (light lemony smell) and held my edges down well, I would not say that it provided great definition. Additionally, this product was quite drying, sticky, and left my hair feeling very straw-like and delicate. I did not like the way my hair (or hands) felt while using this product or after it dried. I attempted to crunch it out the next day, but was unsuccessful. I actually had to wet it to get it feeling somewhat normal, but there are still sections that are very hard days later. I did not have any issues with flaking, which is a positive. I will follow other reviewer recommendations and see if using less product works better. Overall, I’m not a fan right now.

Must have for humid climates! It is hard and crunchy and difficult to use but once you hack it, your curls will look so good if you struggle with definition in humidity. I live in Florida so topping my gel with this mouse gives such good hold! I have looser texture in front and tight could in back and all my textures like this when combined with a gel (usually botanical but sometimes I use it with a heavier gel like ‘I create hold’) Works best in small portions on really wet hair because it gets sticky easily. If it’s too concentrated in tight curls, it will leave flakes. But once I realized to use a little and take water through so the strands are coated but not caked with product, it has been a game changer
