good size for a child, or for portion control
Really cute bento container and chopsticks, I purchased it knowing that bento boxes made in Japan are a lot smaller in size compared to what we are use to in the US. It's the perfect size for my daughter's 1/2 sandwich on the bottom and 2 snack sides on the top! I haven't tried putting anything hot in it or warming it up in the microwave yet, but it does say it is microwave safe. The latches that hold the lid on and containers in place are great, there is a white lid that securely covers the bottom container and the top container sits on that, the plastic is thick and not flimsy at all. The chopstick container is super cute and sturdy too. The only thing I do have to warn about is that the little divider that goes in the top part of the container doesn't stay in place if the container tips over when you use it to separate things like goldfish crackers and cheetos... that being said, its great for accidentally making your own snack mix!

If it fits a typical square tupperware then it will fit the bento
This bento box is the perfect size for me. What I use to pack in a typical square tupperware, I can fit in the bento box. But I don't eat the typical large American portion sizes.Foods I use for my bento:-Rice (bottom), tamagoyaki and pork sausage (top) [or pretty much any kind of meat with rice is my go-to]-Fried rice-indomie MiGoreng Noodles with a fried egg, chopped green onions, and ham (no broth)-Sandwhiches (cut into 4 squares at the top), chips (bottom)-Chrunchy Chicken Cheddar Wrap (cut in 2 - wrapped with large soft tortilla)-Pasta (ground beef spaghetti, chicken alfredo, spaghetti carbonara with bacon etc.) with the meat packed in the bottom and pasta and sauce in the top-Frozen snacks (pizza rolls, mini corn dogs, onion rings, chicken nuggets etc.)

Good size for me!
Honestly, I didn't find this box to be too small. Overpriced, maybe, but this is a typical bento-sized box in Japan. There are two tiers, and one little removable guard to separate your food if you don't like anything touching. I'd likely recommend it more for a child or someone who doesn't plan on bringing sandwiches or big meals. It's good for rice, a small salad, and some vegetables, maybe a few pieces of meat. The quality is nice, though I'd stick to hand washing only to avoid damaging the image on top. The chopsticks are very simple, just red chopsticks with Sailor Moon written on the sides. I'm working on a CICO diet, and this box definitely helps!

Pricy for the size
Bought this as a gift for a Salior Moon fan; she loved it. I feel that the piece and the size don't match. Too pricy for the size.

Best Birthday Present for a Sailor Moon Fan
I love this bento box! I got it as a birthday present and love using it. It is the perfect portion size for me (a small adult female). I put three small rice balls in the bottom and two square silicone cupcake liners in the top for fruits and veggies. The chopsticks and chopsticks case are really nice too.
