Read it! Whether your new to trading or not, this book will make you a better trader. Buy it! It help me to understand that it’s about finding and believing in your own trading style and system, which are based on your own personality.

A great little book to learn some rules for investing and finding big winners.

I've been at this trading stuff for a couple months now. I lost big time, and I've gained big time. My cousin recommended this book as a basic guide to trading. This isn't a standalone study guide. It's just a nice step into the right direction of learning what kind of trader you're able to become. I've got more things to learn before I've become a Rich Trader. But every loss is knowledge gained.

I really like the story line behind this book between the rich trader and the new trader. The tips are subtle and not preachy

I loved this book. Seems like everything New Trade experienced was something I'd experienced also. Wish I had a mentor like he did. The learning curve has been year's long! Lots of great advise and I liked the conversation-style format. I'd also recommend Trading in the Zone. Enjoy!

Been trading for 1.5 hrs. Not a CPT yet but am finally breaking even. This is a great read and I feel a lot of traders will enjoy it

LIKES: It’s a about the journey that every trader encounters. New Trader needed someone to he could be accountable (to certain extent) support for ideas. Relationship building, acceptance into a community. In the end a trading compass Not pot of gold solution ending. DISLIKES: None

Lovely little read for rookie traders. Each chapter highlights some critical elements of building a trading plan, through the mentoring relationship between a Rich (experienced) Trader and a New (rookie) Trader. Can be easily read in a few hours gives great references to further books if you want to go more in depth. I have started following Chris Uhl’s Ovtlyr platform and see how much he and his team have taken inspiration from this book and Steve/Holly Burns.

A must read book!!! Simple and straightforward!

Key concepts expressed in very simple way. The story telling makes the read easy and pleasant. I believe every beginner will recognize him self reading these pages and for this reason I would recommend to anyone who want to approach to the trading market

A good short book for beginner traders that are looking to get some advice on where and how to start in the industry. If you have trading experience it is nothing revolutionary nor surprising. I have read a few of Steve Burns books and yet somehow he always makes me wanting more, and that there seems always something missing in the end. I know that he is an experienced trader, but for those that don't, they might have doubts about his experience in the books. Do not doubt the information that he provides. He is more of a swing trader, and doesn't chase day trading strategies. I gave it 3 stars because the information is, from my personal perspective isn't enough, to my level of trading experience. What I really appreciated is that he provides additional information to books that you can read from the information he just explained in different sections of the book. Overall I will keep reading his books and do recommend this one depending on your training experience/level.

The way the authors face the complex word of trading grave me peace on my own tradings and security on my movements. I liked the format to develop the rules for success.
