Ok, the the description said "fits Chamberlain garage access systems manufactured after 1997". I had a Craftsman model 139.18803 opener with the rectangular type sensors part # 41a4373, which are no longer available. Called around local garage door suppliers and they said buy a new opener. Anyway took a chance and ordered these and wired them up the same way (colour on wires) and no problem, worked perfect. Note there are no markings on the new sensors as which is the sending and receiving unit. The sensor with the amber light is the sender unit and the green receiving.

Missing parts, please send me bolts + nuts to hold the sensors. Item is clearly used. I’ll fix the review stars once I receive all missing hardware

The product is a real Chamberlain safety sensor kit with mounting brackers and wire connectors. It is a direct replament of the safety sensors for Craftsman garage opener from Sears. The sensors comes with a generous length of wires to reconnect to the original bell wires. However, if the bell wires are broken, you will need to purchanse the required replacement. Overall, installation was easy and alignment was also easy.

Remplacer capteurs défectueux

At first, I only replaced the troubled side, the sender (the one that gives green led) and somehow the new one didn't light up. Thought these new sensors were not compatible with my opener or a DOA. Then I thought might as well replace the receiver side too (the orange led side) and voila my sender side sensor came on and everything works perfectly now. MAKE SURE TO REPLACE BOTH SENSORS AT THE SAME TIME! I have a Craftsman Opener.
