I love these, I get a different one for my family every year and we love working out the puzzles together. Great bonding experience for the family and something different other than chocolate to look forward to. They are really well thought out, put together and detailed. The story element is always great. I would say don't buy this for one person or kids / teens to do alone. The puzzles and clues are harder then you think so it needs some adult input to work things out. Some questions we get really quickly, others we grt stumped on and my husband and I have to really put our heads together to reason it out. That's part of the fun though!! Working together. My son likes the easier doors and we'll always explain how we work things out. He's fitting good at escape room stuff now. He is also fully incharge of putting in the code to unlock the next room. So yeah - Great activity, do as a family (kids alone will struggle), for people who love a challenge and an amazing Christmas adventure to boot. Strongly recommend.

A brilliant advent for my 13 year old daughter. It has kept her entertained all the way through. Some clues were challenging but the book of extra clues were helpful. It’s so well thought out and inventive. We will definitely be buying again!

Thames&Kosmos strikes again with another fantastic escape room advent calendar. Having already completed two of these mega escape-rooms-in-a-box (and about 20 of their regular ones), I knew what to expect and they didn't let me down! Super cool puzzles, the logic is sound, and the production value is top-notch. The narration is a bit cheesy and long in places, but all the references to Hollywood classics were very cute. My partner and I smashed it in a day (we're both super into puzzles and ERs). Highly recommend! 🌟🌟🌟🌟🌟

Great fun for 24 days with ingenious and varied puzzles to solve.

This is a great fun family activity in the build up to Christmas, it encourages family time and thinking outside of the box. Brilliant for those of you who enjoy an escape room and lateral thinking. We’ve had one of these for the past three years and it is becoming a family tradition. Only downside is the cost, it isn’t the cheapest, but you do get hours of fun from it, so you need to weigh that up.

This is the second year that we’ve purchased one of these instead of a usual advent calendar. We enjoy the challenges each day. Great activity for a family! Especially one that enjoys cryptic challenges, the design of the product is just brilliant. Great value for money (I buy between 5 of us). Fantastic quality.

Really enjoyed this as a family. Good storyline, daily riddles challenging enough but not too difficult, good mix of types of riddles to keep this entertaining. Highly recommend! We’ll definitely be getting another one next year.
