Most Terry robes I have purchased in the past are MUCH heavier and NOT AS SOFT. This robe is RELATIVELY thin and its light weight make it a pleasure to wear while still keeping you warm with a nice, SOFT material. Plus, the belt is sewn in the back, far superior than having to struggle with a detachable belt. I am 5' 8", 170 lbs and it fits perfectly, coming down just below the calf--a length I like. Since it's a "one size" only garment, if you have a wide girth it may be a bit tight on you, however.

At 6'3", this robe hangs just below my knees and ties pretty much right across my belly button.I wish it was a bit longer, but it's comfortable and absorbent, and the hood is a nice touch.

I bought my husband a robe a few years ago (not terry cloth) but he kept wearing his old one. I asked why and he said he likes Terry cloth. This year my son had outgrown his robe so decided to buy him an adult sized one. After finding this one I decided to buy one for my husband as well. They both wear them all the time.

If you are looking for a roomy bathrobe made of fabric that actually absorbs water , this is for you. I purchased this for my son who is 6ft 200lbs and it fits fine . He loves the hood and that it has pockets . I was worried a 1 size fits all would end up being too small, but if you are around his size or smaller , it will work just fine .

I bought this for my father-in-law. He loves it but highly recommend great gift.
