Q: Clean-up. No where on the can or website does it explain. What do I use to clean up my spray gun, lacquer thinner, mineral spirits, or just water?

There are some solvents specifically for cleaning spray guns (google it), however, I use just plain lacquer thinner to clean my spray guns after spraying any kind of urethane clear, base coat or primer. It works very well.

Q: Is this good for painting a hood?

its what i use and i have been painting cars for 52 years

Q: I find this clear to be much too easy to scratch, and generally too soft. Any suggestions for another high-solids clear urethane that'd be harder?

You can add a small amount of hardner depending on the application.

Q: How fast does this set up?handle, buffable?

sets up really quick in about 5-10 min. I allow to dry overnight to be sure totally cured before sanding or buffing
