A brilliant bit of kit but not really a 'travel mug'.
I am 85 years old with severe balance problems and have to use an upright walking frame and can't carry a cup so I bought an adjustable cup holder which clamps on to my frame then needed a decent size CHINA mug that is splash proof I found this one on Amazon and it fits my needs exactly, I can now get myself a cup of tea Independently. This mug is not really a "travel mug" it's too heavy, not really totally sealed, not double insulated but it hasn't got that usual horrible plastic/metallic taste that spoils your beverages. This is a really nice piece of china and well designed, I love it.

Pros- great looking mug, rubber base non slip removable for easy cleaning, nice size opening in removable lid to drink through, no hard edges to drink from when lid removedCons- lid not100% spill free, body of cup not heat free when filled with hot drink ( I was expecting a cold touch double walled mug)Overall I love this mugIt always gets good comments from people when they see it

I didn’t like the fact that this cup now has just a plastic to the bottom , no warming object that was on the base of the cup 😉 , it’s okay but not as good as the type before

Absolute waste of money beyond useless.
Expensive which I wouldn’t mind if it worked. The lid sits on top rather than sealing the cup and does absolutely nothing to stop liquid spilling. As a gravel cup it is totally useless. It’s essentially a vey big expensive mug with some plastic on the bottom.

Quality item
Bought for my morning coffee to which it adds the pleasure of a mug with a quality luxury feel and appearance together with a higher than most capacity. No it's not thermal, but the slide close lid helps keep contents hot enough for leisurely drinking. After trawling through dozens of mugs for one which would keep hot and could be microwaved, I'm satisfied I made the right choice.

Love this! Get a lot of compliments at work! Very sturdy, feels nice to hold, the lid works well - only trouble is you need to buy a long spoon to stir your tea with!
