These arrived promptly, even without Prime. They taste great though a little sweeter than I’d like. Nonetheless, I’ve noticed more energy since starting them. They smell sweet. Package says should be eaten with a fat so I take them with my lunch that includes healthy fats. I halved the dose and only take 1 of the two recommended because my multi vitamin already includes some D3. The combo seems to work great. So much easier to take than the !!

I unfortunately moved to the Pacific Northwest almost 7 years ago, where we see more cloudy days than sunny, and if the sun is out, it is very windy or rainy so you still have to cover up to stay warm or dry. Therefore, I have twice been diagnosed w/ having low Vitamin D levels. I was already taking 500 IU a day, but I guess that was too low, so I upped my dosage w/ these. I only take one a day instead of 2 as recommended because I feel the dose is too high based on daily recommended being 1,000 IU and anything higher should only be short term. They taste great, but I had to remove a star just because I feel the recommended dose is too high for me - may be fine for you though. Even with the one gummy I could feel my heart beating irregularly (I am a former vet tech so I know how to track heart beats, but anyone can tell just by counting your own pulse), it was skipping beats and I felt very weird. I took a low dose of magnesium when I realized what was happening and that seemed to resolve it - that is NOT medical advice, just what I did. The dosage may be fine for some people, this is just my experience. I have a small hole in my heart so I have to be very careful with anything that affects my heart rhythm. I will still take one a day as low Vit D can also be a dangerous thing, but I will take with a low dose of magnesium as well, which is actually good to take with vit D anyway Overall, very happy with these. On a another positive note, it does help me sleep better. I will keep these on subscribe and save as I feel they are helpful, and the lower dose will make them last longer!
