I saw this used in a youtube video and had to have my own. I normally separate eggs the old fashion way but this device is both super cute and functional so it makes a nice addition to any kitchen!! Technically this is a completely unnecessary purchase when you think about it but for older folks, it makes separating egg whites a lot easier. My mom has arthritis in both hands and her dexterity isn't what it used to be anymore so this device makes the process more convenient since she can just use one hand to the separating. I just crack an egg into and then shimmy the egg whites out via it's beak. Looks like the little birdy is throwing up haha, anyway, you're left with the egg yolk inside. The quality feels good and sturdy in the hand, and it was well packaged in a bubble wrap and envelope. Be careful handling because this will probably shatter if it falls from a tall height. If you like cute and functional helpers in your kitchen, then you should totally get this little guy!

I bought this for my daughter as a gift. This is such a cute way to separate your yolks from the egg whites. I need to buy one for myself. My daughter said it works perfectly well and makes a cute addition in her kitchen. She loves it and uses it all the time. It is good quality, sturdy and easy to clean. It is ceramic, which we were very pleased with, when so many things today are made out of plastic. This made it even nicer. Makes a great gift.

This thing works very well. Separates the whites from the yolk nicely. I use this quite often. Easy to clean.

I bought this because it was cute. The opening of the beak where the egg whites are supposed to come out sometimes clogs. It can be more trouble to use this than to simply crack the egg and use it's own shells going back and forth as the egg whites drop out. If you have small children it is a neat way to get them involved with helping in the kitchen. The product does separate the egg whites from the yolk when it doesn't clog.

It works as it’s designed for. I always had a difficult time separating the egg yolk and this was needed for a better diet. I used this several times and I guess somehow from using it, it taught me how to separate the egg better just by crack the egg and just using the shell. It is very easy to use. So I think it it a helpful product for the kitchen.

Pretty to look at but egg whites take forever to be separated. Opening is a tad tight so the egg white pours out very slowly

I thought this little gadget was so cute, but it doesn't work well in terms of separating the egg whites from the yolks. It doesn't "drain" well and takes "forever" to release the egg white. I ended up reaching inside the thing and removing the yoke with a spoon. It's now just a cute "decoration" for my kitchen.

I love this egg separator the best one I found Ive used others but nothing compares to this one. Everytime I I tried to separate eggs the with transfer egg shell to egg shell either it got all over me or the counter this it comes right through the beak and and no yolk gets in the white. Great product I would recommend this to anyone looking for a egg separator worth the money spent and also I love that its ceramic well made.

Useful and handy, looks cute.

Mein Mann kocht & backt sehr gern und gut. Aber er kann keine Eier trennen. Jedesmal muss ich dann in den Einsatz. Damit ich auch mal meine Ruhe habe, habe ich diese Investition getätigt. Der Eiertrenner macht, was er soll... er "kotzt" das Eiweiß aus, das Eigelb behält er für sich. Sieht putzig aus, und funktioniert ei(n)wandfrei.
