Absolutely Gorgeous, Professional Soft Finish, Straight As An Arrow, Perfect For Tight Spots
This 48” blue cue stick is absolutely gorgeous with what feels to me like a professional soft finish. It’s STRAIGHT AS AN ARROW with a perfectly matched joint and, maybe best of all, it’s an excellent short length for our really tight spot on one side of the table that had to be placed pretty close to the wall.I’ll admit that I’m a novice at pool but, I can tell quality workmanship when I see it and feel it and I’m very impressed with this cue stick, so I definitely highly recommend it.

Looks and feels decent for its asking price. No warpage or visible defects, rock hard tip.
This review is for the "36 Inch/ 42 Inch/ 48 Inch Short Pool Cue Stick for Kids, Canadian Maple Billiard Cues for Tight Spaces, 2024" that I ordered via the Vine program. Our 10-year-old granddaughter has started showing interest in playing pool, so I ordered this cue for her to start with. This cue looked well made in the online listing and I was not at all disappointed once I had it in hand. At this price range I'm looking for the basics: a decent finish, proper weight, and no warpage. This cue delivered on all of these. This cue was extremely straight with only the slightest vibration at the tip when rolled in my cue testers, so no noticeable warpage at all. Both the shaft and butt are nicely finished and very smooth and I could find no noticeable blemishes on either. The cue measured 48" from tip to butt not including the butt cap and the tip measured 12.5mm using my digital calipers. The joint was relatively loose throughout the threads and only tightened up once fully seated against the butt, and the cue was straight once assembled. The advertised weight for this cue was 18oz and my measurements were 18.5 oz, so a slight bit heavier than listed. The balance point was about 1 in ahead of the wrap. No joint protectors were included.I played a few racks with this cue and while it had a decent hit, the tip is rock hard and has a distinctive clink sound on par with phenolic break tips I've used. I was able to get decent ball control with it but I really didn't like the feel after running through a couple of racks. I may replace the tip with a medium if my granddaughter takes to the game. For the asking price this is an OK quality cue. I like the aesthetics of the wrap-less butt and the point design. Note that these are decals and not actual inlays, but the finish over them is solid and I expect it to last for a good long while if maintained. My only real nitpicks are the large logo around the butt and the overly hard tip. So, keeping that in mind, I can tentatively recommend this cue. I wouldn't suggest it as a player's cue, but for a child starting to learn the game before getting a full-size cue, it certainly fills the need.

Pretty but warped
The length and 18-oz weight of the 48 Inch Short Pool Cue are good, and the inlays, design, and vibrant colors are beautiful.Unfortunately, both the first AND second cues I received were warped, the second slightly less than the first, so it'll work okay, but it does make learning more difficult. Additionally, the less warped stick has several rough spots from incomplete and improperly applied finish. While this is a relatively inexpensive cue at $39.99, I still expected better.I recommend passing on this one.

New type of stick
Our cues are getting older and we don't have enough anyway. The younger kids want to play now and it's so awkward for them to use the 58" long cues the adults are using.I decided to give this cue a try.We got the 48" one for the smaller teens/preteens to use. It's really beautiful looking especially compared to our beat up ones. It's helpful for the tight spots in the room. We have our table in what we call the "Sun Room" which is an enclosed porch. It's not super wide so some of the spots are tricky. A shorter cue is definitely helpful for that.I think I'll order some more.

Nice pool stick
This is great. I got it because I prefer the shorter stick than most found at pool halls. Works perfect, looks great, and easy to carry/store.

Clean Junior cue
I was speaking with someone at a local pool hall and the kid loved to shoot pool but was using an adult cue so grip, stance, aim, etc was off due to it being too long. This cue solved for that. This is actually a good shortie cue for an adult that needs to be able to shoot in tight places. It's built well and I like the design and colors of the cue. Decent starter cue for kids, anyone under 4 1/2 feet.

Beautiful, straight and true, solid craftsmanship
I got the 36 inch. It's very straight. It comes in 2 pieces. There is no case or anything like that included. The inlays are beautiful. The build quality is solid. It's standard maple (not carbon or anything like that). The tip is medium, 12.5mm, which is ideal for beginners or intermediate players. It's got a pretty high balance point, with most of the weight distribution toward the back of the cue. It comes in at around 15 ounces, which is probably the right weight for a 36 inch.
