Not compatible for the UK
Not compatible with UK ver. of the Nest Learning thermostat 3rd Gen. Fantastic customer service from Amazon, the device was easily returned for a full refund.

Had it only for a few hours and its awesome, absolutely worth it.My thermostat is in a hallway, and there is an air intake underneath it and a bathroom beside it. The temp on my thermostat was never accurate and my bills were all over the place. I would constantly be adjusting it up or down at least 6 times during the day. Instead of hiring an HVAC person to run lines and cut through drywall and do all of that, chat gpt suggested that I just get a sensor. My house temp is now officially stable. Im so impressed. It showed rhat the hallway was actually 23.5 while the rooms were only 20. I cant wait to save a good amount of money because of this now that the thermostat isnt confused!

Reliable product, recommended
Easy to set up

Not for UK Nest Thermostats.
Be warned. I failed to do my research properly and it was only after failing to be able to connect this to my Nest did I then realise that these little gadgets are not compatible with the UK versions of Nest thermostats. My sensor was shipped from the US so that probably should have prompted me to read up more before purchase.

Great add on for Nest - a must have
Really great add on for my Google Nest thermostat - the issue many homes have is that the location of the thermostat is central in a home but not where sleeping happens. In our upper floor where the bedrooms are, in summer they are hotter than the rest of the house. This portable thermostat in the upper level helps set the house temp according to the upper level for comfortable sleeping.
