I like this brand W-King and I have the D9 radio and the H10 radio which both have good balanced sound. I figured this D2 speaker would be the same but it has no bass at all. Even when you try to use your phone's equalizer to adjust the sound, there is no bass. Other than that, it is a nice size to carry around and is loud and clear enough at higher listening levels. The midrange is good and the highs are good. I like the waterproof rating because I can take it out on my boat and to the beach. Not worried if it rains or falls in the water. I like the fact that you can insert a memory card and can listen to music without having to use your phone. I also like the long play time and the fast charging time. Maybe I got a defective one that has no bass, but I am happy and I am going to keep the one I have.

At the $40 price tag you're probably looking for some fairly decent audio quality. The constant white noise and clicking sound produced in all speaker modes tell you all about the audio quality. The volume of the noise is so distracting that I'd rather use my phone speakers. The bass is OK.As for the volume, you'll notice your Micro SD audio come out extremely loud. I had to normalize the files before sending those to the micro SD card. The radio is also excessively loud. There's no way to individually customize the volume of different modes, so you'll have to do it yourself.Well at least it can play a few more audio formats (like FLAC) so it's a plus compared to the worse speakers I guess…No love or even thought had been put into this disappointment. I have not been able to understand the purpose of this speaker. A cheap phone beats it most of the time.
