I like the capsule form—no strange iron smell or aftertaste, and the pills didn’t upset my stomach and were easy to swallow. It's too early to tell whether this supplement will help elevate my serum iron level until my next blood test. We'll see.

I have been taking these for over a couple of years now. Starting out I was anemic and my ferritin was at 11, but ferritin makes me so sick and I just cannot tolerate it. Especially in the dosage I was supposed to be taking. This iron is fantastic if you have a sensitive stomach. It is a slow process but it will get you there. Every time I add it to an intake form as part of my “vitamins and supplements” the doctors always say they’ve never heard of any iron supplement other than ferritin. Don’t let this deter you. It does work and your digestive system with thank you.

I had gastric bypass surgery five years ago, so my iron absorption rate is even lower than normal and I am particularly susceptible to queasiness and GI problems. The bisglycinate chelated formula is the only form of iron that I have found that keeps my iron at healthy levels for my frequent blood testing. It also doesn't cause the usual nausea and gut cramping like ferrous sulfate, the cheap stuff that most iron tablets use. It also doesn't leave a nasty taste in your mouth. I wish I had known about this during my decades of fighting simple iron deficiency and taking prenatal vitamins. I might have easily avoided a lifetime of anemia. The NutriCost brand is, by far, the least expensive bisglycinate iron source I have found in years of research. If you can beat 6 cents for a bisglycinate 36 mg equivalent of Fe, please let me know!

I have been using these iron pills for a while now they are very gentle on your stomachache. They have good effect if your iron is low they really do the job getting it back up and level again. The plus is that some iron pills are known to cause constipation, but so far these pills have not done that. I recommend it! This product is a good Iron supplement.

Not sure what it is - but these tablets made me feel off. I have experienced a similar sensation with Zinc tablets (after changing the brand I felt fine)
