Shooters Source One Shot (O.S.) Shell Holder Is made of high quality Delrin and will not lose its tension on the shell as temperatures adjust from season to season. The Shooters Source O.S. Shell Holder can be used for a planned or unplanned reload. For unplanned reloads we suggest mounting it in front of your loading port no closer than 3”, when your bolt is forward. For a planned reload, we suggest mounting it on the forearm, opposite side of the ejection port or on the bottom. This will allow you to add one shell at the beginning of a stage without having to go to your belt, saving valuable time. The kit includes the O.S. Shell Holder, both Hook and Loop Velcro, (2) bolts and washers and an alcohol wipe. Everything you need (minus tools) to attach it to your shotgun, all in one package. Installation Instructions - The TS2 O.S. Shell Holder package includes (1) O.S. Shell Holder (1) Alcohol Wipe (1) A complete set of hook and loop Velcro and (2) Bolts and washers, (1) piece of grip tape. Velcro it to your shotgun’s forearm to determine the proper place for you. Then bolt it to your shotgun’s forearm. NEVER mount the O.S. Shell Holder closer than 3” of your bolt handle when the bolt is completely forward. This eliminates the chance of the bolt handle hitting the primer of the shell while inside the holder and detonating. We suggest first mounting it to the gun just using the Velcro. Once you’re satisfied with its placement and have checked that the washer will not interfere with the guns functioning, then mount it with the supplied bolt and washers. DO NOT over tighten the screws when attaching it. Leave them a ‘little’ loose so it acts as a shock absorber. You may choose to use Loctite if you like. The O.S. Shell Holder may be modified/tuned to your loading style. We left the tolerances tight on the inside dimensions to hold the shell at all times.

Fits my Mossberg 930 and runs great! install was a little less than clear, but worked!
Could have used better installation instructions. Here's what I did. I put my bolt into the forward position and measured 1 three inch shell length to place the shell holder. That way if the shell backs out under recoil it can never be detonated by the bolt handle. I marked a position on the forearm and then disassembled. Verify that the nuts wont interfere with the action of the shotgun, in my case I had to avoid the components of the semi auto gas system. I drilled through with progressively larger bits until the nut could be forced into the hole. This facilitates a friction fit for better retention. I then used a little blue Loctite and screwed it down until the nuts began to turn in place. I let it sit for 24 hours then shot about 150 rounds of various design, pulling them from the holder. It works well and is fast. I haven't had it come loose at all yet and it didn't interfere with the function of the shotgun. Overall I'd rate it just as well as the better known brand, but at a bargain. Installed on a 12 gauge Mossberg 930 JM .

Amazing customer service, I highly recommend them!
When I opened the Shell Holder, one of the tabs was snapped off, thanks to the thin envelope Amazon Fullfilment packaged it in. It still worked, but cutting my thumb was not ideal when using it. I contacted the seller and asked if they would send a replacement or if they'd rather refund me, (which to my understanding with Amazon, they didn't have to.), And the seller said they'd send me a replacement same day, and did.When I opened up the package, not only was it in a better package, but it was also just fine, they included a Velcro patch, a sticker (which is now on my 3Gun case), and some gummy bears, which was nice I guess, lol.Anyways, it works well, mounted well, and the company's customer service was outstanding. Highly recommend them!And for anyone wondering, it isn't flimsy but also isn't too hard/brittle. It fit my dummy rounds as well as Winchester and Federal target shells.

Do not buy.
This item says you cannot return the item. Policy for Amazon, if you sell it via prime you should be able to return. I attach but the description states it comes with alcohol swab and Velcro. Didn’t come with everything and the screw don’t fit. Overall it’s not what I thought it would be. I thought it would be like shotsaver but it sticks out more then I like.

Works Great! Common sense install.
Works great! Installed on a Stoeger m3k. Easy to install as long as you make sure its foward enough so your bolt handle wont hit the shell you should be good. Its also good to check that there will be no interference with the moving parts under the forend when chosing the location.

Mounts easy to magpul. Longer grip to hold the shell the the other brand names fits mossberg remington....the 870 1100 1187 and versamax...mossberg 500 590a1 and my Spx930
