MAMODY Abdominal Binder Post Surgery Plus Size Postpartum Belly Band Wrap

This binder is nice. Made well & relatively easy to put on. It has strong Velcro closures & the extra band helps with more support. It's a great length for going around me but also for it's height at 9". I bought a longer height binder prior to this & found it a little too much for me. This is easy to move in & reasonably comfortable. It can be easily washed, though I haven't needed to yet. It seems versatile enough to use any time I need it.

Be sure to review your measurements versus the supplied product measurements for a great fit. I read all the specifics regarding the wrap measurements and compared them to my own. The band/wrap fits perfectly. I love the ability to adjust both bands, depending on how much support is needed. The adjustability allows for the right amount of compression and stability. I remain completely mobile, but just with some additional support. The material is very sturdy, but is smooth against my skin, so there is no irritation. Easy to clean and air dry. I would purchase again.

The material feels durable, and it’s nice having that added support when I need it most.My reason for giving it 4 stars instead of 5 is that I found the binder to be a little bulky. It can feel noticeable under clothing, and I would have preferred a slightly more lightweight design for everyday comfort. Overall, it’s a supportive and well-made product that does its job, but the bulkiness is something to consider depending on your needs.

I was reading up on how a binder would be best after a hysterectomy. I needed a full hysterectomy and this came in clutch.Helped me feel like my stomach wasnt going to fall off, abd provided a lot of support. I liked being able to adjust it, as the bloating went down and the healing continued.I also recommend this for c-section mommas!

Today is day 6 from my same day gall bladder removal surgery. I am over the intense pain but still found walking, sitting ,coughing, sneezing and random move quite painful for a few minutes multiple times a day. A friend suggested I purchase one of these binders, so I ordered it yesterday and it came about an hour and a half ago. Of course it went on right away and let me tell you it does not hurt to do stuff now. I am still taking it easy but sneezing and coughing and sitting does not hurt. So thankful for my friend and this binder. Compression is good, holds the right amount without squishing to hard, and wow so easy to put on. I think it will last long after I am felly healed.

In the beginning they were great but with use they stretch and become rough. There are little wire like strands the come out. Makes the wraps very scratchy. I have to wear a form fitting under shirt to keep it from scratching my skin and it picks at my cloths. Having a inoperative hernia, I have to wear it at all times.

I wear size 26 in woman's and have very large hip span. I recently had a hysterectomy and by the 2nd day I was in a lot of pain so decided I would try this amdominal binder. I'm so glad that I did!! This is a game changer! I probably could have gotten the 3x but I'm glad I got the 4x to have more room to fit around my hips and compress snuggly over my abdomen. I am able to sit up in a chair and sit up in my bed with the binder on. It has given me so much relief, before it was delivered yesterday a cough or sneeze was sending me through the ceiling with pain. I highly recommend!!

The product is as stated other than I did not receive one with hooks, which was nice. The one I received has two adjustable velcro straps, one larger inside & a thinner one outside. The double strap provides nice support. I purchased the 2XL/3XL which is my size however I should have purchased the 1XL for higher compression. The 'boning' in the back is comfortable & I could move easily. I forgot I had it on at one point. I purchased it to help with a hysterectomy recovery & it was comfortable in my second week of recovery (that's when I purchased it). The material is thin & has a nice stretch. Two of the 'boning' have a velcro strip for adjustment.I would definitely purchase this again, but in a smaller size for that higher compression.

Exactly what I was looking for, particularly waist and pelvis belts. They fit snuggly and are very comfortable to wear for the daily walks. I've been using them for couple of days and so far I am very happy with them. The material seems quite durable and stretchy. Thumbs up from me!

I’ve been looking for a plus size band with really good support for my back. I love that it’s very comfortable and easy to put on and feels really good when wearing it either under or over clothes. I ordered mine way too big so I could definitely go down I or 2 sizes as it fits but moves after wearing it for a bit. So far this is the only product that I could find on Amazon that definitely fits a plus size person as other products I’ve ordered said plus size but then could not close around my waist. I wish they would make this product with bone in it for stronger back support. 😊
