DIDN'T HAVE TO REPLACE ALTERNATOR!
Bought classic 1966 Ford Econoline van with low voltage issue, but replaced old regulator instead of difficulty removing alternator and charging great!

I blew it up
Do not know anything other than it arrived on time, looked well made. I messed up with the ground wire and fried it. My fault completely. Figured out what I did and bought a regulator from AutoZone (in a hurry) and it worked.

Good value
Perfect fit. The original was quite a bit taller so I didn't know if this was correct but it is. Once I put it on all my readings were correct and functioning great. Good buy.

Perfect fit
This was a perfect replacement for the old regulator in my 1984 F250. Along with a new alternator, my truck runs like a charm and charges properly.

Garbage
Don't buy it. I bought it for a truck that I am restoring. I haven't even driven the truck full time and this part failed already, and the warranty is over within a month. I went and bought a new one to O'reilly auto parts and my truck is working perfect now.I wouldn't not buy these parts online again.

Over charging
It said it matched my 81 Ford. It came fast. I installed it with new battery. My volt meter show charging at 15.6 volts witch it way to high. Shouldn't be higher then 14.5 volts max. New battery was on charge waiting on this. 15.7volt is on the edge of red line of gage. So I tested it with my miti meter and get 15.5 volts. My old voltage Regulator was not working it pinned the volt meter to the far right. Miti meter showed 18.7 volts. This is why I ordered this one. Looks the same as my old one that been in the truck all its life.I left seller feed back as I went to factory website to clam waranty. They turned it down because was not sold by a Authorized reseller
