It works. Don’t hold it inches away get as close to the nozzle for maximum heat
So far so good! I measured the steam a few inches away, 145F I didn’t test closer and closer.*To the kind people that show themselves using it on their hand or arm to say it’s not hot Steam, please don’t try that . Some may have defective unit, but It’s steam, it’s hottest closest to the nozzle and any steam several inches away will be is warm to our human skin. The heat number they give is internal. Your bathroom steams up when taking a hot shower, that can burn you, but steam nonetheless…Use it as close to the item you’re working on, for the best amount of heatI’ll save the hose attachment for clothes. At that distance it is warm steam-so far no leakage, *Oh and if you are trying to remove the lid while it’s still espresso machine hot, the safety mechanism is for the person spinning and spinning the lid as if it’s broken,,, that’s the safety mechanism so that you do NOT hurt yourself-it will come off, after all steam is used up and unplugged like instructions say, let sit a few minutes ( the red dot on the lid is the visual indicator when safe to open) while plugged in, you can’t remove the lid for safety, it’s always keeping the inside a certain temperature that’s starts as soon as plugged in…. The button to shoot the steam seems good as it to has a safety feature- I like safe things especially when something that can cause burns… I’ve only used it 3 times so far and read all of this in the instructions before ever using it.I thought maybe it would empty fast because the small amount of distilled water it holds, but it keeps heating and steaming works well - I like it so far..

Long learning curve
A very long learning curve for me. The reviews helped me figure the steamer out. Although it said the steamer was ready to steam, the light would go out, it would not steam. I was a little scared of the pressured steam. Finally I realized I had to press the trigger very hard. When I did, it first scared me. I had unplugged it several times and spent hours to re read the instructions until I got it to work properly. Once I figured it out, it worked very, very well. Highly recommended now

Takes a lot of effort to release steam
This steam cleaner works pretty well for removing the grime out of my grout. It doesn’t fully restore it to white, but it looks much better than before! You can see the before (top right) and after (bottom left) in my picture. It’s noticeably cleaner and whiter, and looks much better. My two biggest criticisms: the trigger takes a lot of effort to push, and you need to keep it pressed to release steam. My thumbs are sore and tired because it takes so much energy to keep pressed down. I wish there was just a lock/unlock switch and an easier to use trigger. I’m not a fan of that design since it makes the tool ineffective for larger cleaning jobs.My second criticism is that the water tank is so small. I only got through a few large tiles worth of grout before it ran out of water. The small water tank makes the product lighter, but that’s not a huge benefit to me when the trigger is so hard to keep pressed down in the first place.5 stars for cleaning power, 3 stars for design / usability.

Good, but keep looking
The steamer works perfectly and definitely tingles some OCD habits in me. As great as it is, it’s really only for tiny projects. The cons:1. It’s really designed for small projects. I had to reload the water 3 times for an area that was 2’x6’.2. The button to release steam is very hard to press down. I found myself using both hands to hold the button down, spray the stream and then relocate my hands to use the scrubbing features. A day later and my hands are still sore/shaky.3. The cord isn’t terribly long. But, I think it’s because the device is not for larger projects. It reached the areas I needed it to, but no way could it reach across a room or even up a shower wall. It’s about the length of an iron. The pros:1. It with amazing accessories that I didn’t know I needed including a cup to refill the water and scrubbing tools. As a tip, the scrubbers are very hard, but did NOT scratch porcelain tile.2. Compact and fast. If you have a few tiles, a dirty sink or dirty toilet area, you would be able to fill, heat up and clean in less than 15 minutes.Would I buy this item again? No. I’d purchase something much larger. Does it work amazingly? Absolutely.

This is an awesome product! Read the instructions and it works properly
This is AWESOME! I bought this today and used it on my new carpeting we put in our rec room. We had a patch of glue on the carpet from a taped down dart throwing line. I thought the carpet was ruined. We tried everything to remove the glue from the carpet. We used this little Bissell steamer and the glue came right up with no residue or marks in the carpet! It saved $2500 worth of carpet from having to be replaced! It’s paid for itself in 10 minutes! Takes stains out of carpet really well too.
