desertcart.com : Taveners Fruits Drops : Hard Candy : Grocery & Gourmet Food Review: Reminds me of my youth. - Delicious Review: Fruity Taste - When I was a child, my father used to occasionally buy a tin of these candies as a treat for us kids. I used to be able to find them in grocery stores on the east coast and would purchase a few tins on business trips. The candies actually taste like fruit and, for whatever reason, I like the light dusting of powder that coats the candy.

Quality Candies in a Cozy Tin Can
Yummy! I was raised on Taveners. …and my father before me. Assorted fruit flavors that delight. Glad to have found them on Amazon.

Love them
Have only been able to find these online, used to be able to get them at a British shop close by but they are so expensive so stopped carrying them. My mum loved them, so it was a no brainer when I found them at this price.

Tavener's Fruit Drops
Used to love these when I was a kid, but they are not as good as I remember. Plus they only had green, orange and a white drop (unknown flavor). No red ones at all. Will not buy again.

Not what they used to be.
Taveners fruit drops used to have unique and varied flavors back in the day but they have seriously declined. They taste ok but nothing unique. Furthermore, my jar contained mostly lemon and lime, only a couple orange and no grapefruit. If they can’t have the great other flavors they used to have, can they at least have an even ratio of the ones they do have? I was hoping for a lot more, I’m disappointed. They were fresh and have natural ingredients, so there is that.

The Search is Over!
I have looked for these for YEARS. I remember them from childhood and I rediscovered them as an adult while traveling. For a while, they were nowhere to be found. Finally! Just as I remembered. I miss the metal pry up tins, but the flavors, the powdered sugar. Still the same. I'm happy. :)

If you like lemon and an occasional lime flavor...well and good.
No variety in the flavors. Can is teeny. NOTHING LIKE THE ORIGINALS! So very disappointed. We got these in Ireland a while back and they were great...under the name of TRAVELER'S, not TAVERNER'S drops. Must have changed hands...the company should be ashamed of presenting such an inferior product.
