If I could give this more than 5 stars, I absolutely would! The TheraICE PROpack gel ice pack is incredible. I just got this today. Put it in the freezer immediately. After a syncopal ( fainted on concrete, and wrenched my neck and back ) event last week. So, I wanted an extra large size to be able to do neck and back or drape over my shoulder. The things I LOVE about this size is I can use in multiple areas, and this doesn’t sweat moisture as it is on, zero moisture which is great, because every other ice pack will sweat making for wet clothes or wherever you lay against, which is a huge factor for me. It holds the cold for quite a long time. I had used it, and had to run and errand, forgot to put it back in the freezer again. When I came home, I noticed this and it was still very cold, the time lapse was over an hour, so I am super impressed. If you need an ice pack, this one is by far and away, the best ever. It is comfortable and soft, which is another feature, it conforms to the body nicely. Highest quality at an affordable price, you will love it. It has a plastic sleeve that you can put it in, just fold in half and store in freezer until needed.

Why did you pick this product vs others?: These cold backs are a game changer. My wife had purchased the cold pack that goes over your head due to migraines and I was impressed with the quality and just how cold they actually get. They aren't like the gel filled packs that I have used before that are rigid when they come out of the freezer and eventually start leaking the gel. I recently had knee surgery and the hospital did not give me anything to ice, yet told me I had to ice as often as I could. I ordered two of these large TheraICE packs. They are colder than ice when they first come out of the freezer so just be ready. But they come out completely pliable. I was able to take it out of the freezer and wrap it all the way around my knee with no problem. They are soft and very comfortable.

Absolutely love this ice pack! It's a nice squishy gel almost similar to the gel found in seat cushions or the Purple mattress. The size of this is so great for larger areas like your back or legs. I love that is stays cold for so long and it's the perfect ice treatment for when I throw out my back. It's definitely worth the price.

Have not actually used them in a first aid situation but they froze quickly and they seemed to stay cold when left out to try them out. They had a nice flexible shape when frozen and seemed to be easy to use.

These get super cold and feels great, would be a 5 star but the cold dissipates rather quickly:/
