New Balance Men's Fresh Foam X 1080 V14

Great quality shoe. I subled accross this on my research on running shoes, which came up for everyday running on concrete and road running. I didn't want to get my hopes up, but this shoe delivers. My runners knee pain on my left leg was significantly reduced. Its still there but it doesn't feel like a needle is sticking my knee. I can't say it will be the same for other people but I love these shoes for road running. I wiill not use this shoes for track workout and off road running. The grip for off road running is not there. Its like driving a bus—no raction feed back from the shoes. While on the rubber track, Reaction feedback from these is non-existent, but that's not what you buy them for. These are the workhorse shoes that get you from day to day jogging.

Seems I keep bouncing back and forth between the NB 1080 series and the ASICS Men's Gel-Kayanos as each team tries to reinvent the wheel with each new model.This year the ASICS Gel-Kayano 31s were terrible (for me) so back to the 1080s. Wow! Love this one! Fits great, well-made, and not unimportantly they look great (I wear mine everywhere).This new model runs at least 1/2 size small, so take that into account. The shoe is stable, and the sole is quite cushiony and even a bit ‘spongy.’ Took a little getting used to, but now they’re great. I’ll likely buy a safety pair soon to insure against the inevitable new model which will probably toss out everything I like about this pair … sigh.

The most comfortable running shoes ever! I'm 57 and run about 5-7 miles a day. For my old knees the right shoes make world of deference. I tried deferent shoes mostly the known brands at about the same price range upwards of 300. None compare to these shoes. I run pain free and love every step I take in them. They fit half a size too small so I had to go a half size larger. I highly recommend them.

Great fit! A little pricy with taxes and all. You could find this in retail at a lower price point. I’m just starting my journey at running and they feel really comfortable and soft on every step. Definitely an upgrade from regular training shoes, these are real shoes for runners in every level. They are light and look great on me.

I ware 12.5 x wide in the 1080v12 . I have to take the shoe laces out of the first 2 holes next to the toe box to fit me. The instep of the toe box of the 1080 v14 4E are an entire inch too tight. I measured to make sure. I also took the shoe laces out of the first 2 holes on the v14. The instep is cut straight on the v14 instead of rounded like the v12.

The good: Extremely comfortable, great for jogging, good quality, the fit and size are similar to other new balance shoes, breathability good. I enjoy jogging in these shoes and run longer distancesCons: the comfort comes from the softness of the sole which sacrifices stability. Be careful making sharp turns or standing on your heels. I weigh 190, ~6 feet tall.For me the benefits outweigh the disadvantages. I would buy the shoes again.I have only run 25 miles. No data on wear and tear

I've bought dozen of tennis shoes in the last three years always looking for the best walking experience. This one change .y life. This one is my second pair and the one I took to my travel trip to Europe. Even if you have feet pain or discomfort using them Willmake a difference. I Fully recommend them.
