Good Quality - Easy to Assemble - Well Packaged - Seat a bit small for me (6' - 200 lbs)If you are going to use this on a smooth surface be a bit cautious as it rolls super easy when you are trying to sit down at full extended seat height. Possible solution is to exchange the casters for lockable ones.

Initial unboxing, assembly and first thoughts review. Assembly was simple and straightforward. Speaking as a welder and fabricator, it feels surprisingly solid and the parts themselves are well made. Provided hex cap machine screws thread nicely into high quality threaded rivet nuts. When all bolted together it's actually quite solid, the seat and back feel comfortable, the stitching on the faux leather is clean and solid, and the height adjustment is smooth and gives me the perfect range I need for working on projects at my crafting bench. I generally have a low opinion of these types of products as the component materials and welds tend to be thin, cheap and poorly done. Looks good, feels good, color me mildly impressed. I can almost guarantee that the amazonbasics version would fall far short of this particular item. My two cents for what it's worth.

Purchased this chair for a counter heigth application at work. Chair was easy to assemble and pretty sturdy. THe problem was that the raise and lower cylinder acted more like a shock and compressed when you sat on it making the overall height of the chair less than advertised. Also the back rest is not adjustable and feels like its pushing you forward. The company did send a replacement cylinder that should lock in place instead of acting like a shock absorber. I havent had a chance to try the replacement yet. I did keep the chair and can use it in my shop. Kudos to customer servie for getting right on it.
