I have extremely aggressive arthritis that affects every single joint in my body on a seriously painful level and as a result, have found it VERY hard to find products that genuinely provide decent, long-lasting relief for my symptoms... In the past 15 years, pertaining specifically to this [lumbar/back] issue, I have tried a plethora of different back supports that offer a varied & generally limited range of relief from such aches & pains. I had pretty much given up hope as I have owned & tested so many, from generic versions, to medical-grade variants (and even improvised ones), but never found that 'complete' support which provides a solid, consistent 'resting-point' + comfortable, long-lasting support... until I decided to test this one... Honestly, this back support is EVERYTHING I have ever been searching for my whole life!.. It offers such a life-changing level of support that I was almost upset that I had not found it before! I mean, I have used similar ones, but they always ended up causing unbearable discomfort or irritation in some way, which is what makes this product stand-out from the rest... I feel no discomfort, no persistent urge to re-adjust the belt in any way, no need to take breaks or use it in an unconventional fashion; it is perfect the way it is and it is also versatile! It is of reasonable, sufficient size that actually covers the area which back supports are supposed to - most others usually fall short or are way too small and keep 'riding' + folding up/down frequently, whereas when wearing this belt, it will stay in the desired position without any sort of movement whatsoever, until you decide to take it off (sometimes that has been for up to 20 hours during a bad 'spell' with my arthritis). The best part I like about this belt, is that you don't need to tighten it whilst you are putting it on (like a lot of other belts) or have to tighten it via a single strap on one side to give yourself awkward/off-balance support that gradually becomes slacker - you literally just strap it loosely/normally around the body first, with the main strap and then the 2 bands, either side, are the mechanism by which you tighten the belt and, by design, allows you to have FULL control over the level of support the belt provides, specifically tailored to your personal needs + the straps can be re-adjusted at any time, whenever you wish, without having to lose support! Wearing this belt for the first few times really enlightens you to the significant difference it makes to improve your posture and effectively reduce/eliminate the aches & pains in the spinal region! This is the best back support belt ever! An all-rounder that scores major points in every field. It's an exceptional product which can swiftly eliminate any developing injuries that I would otherwise sustain during my 'worse' stages/phases (which come without warning, at random times), so I always keep it within reach for whenever I get that distinctive 'stabbing-ache' sensation in my back. The support struts are not intrusive and can NOT be felt (well, not individually, not like they are 'poking' you), you can not distinguish between any of them whilst wearing the belt - it just feels like a satisfying 'squeeze' that contours to your body, at whatever pressure you adjust it to... I personally believe that the belt is of perfect 'thickness', not too thin, not too thick... just right. One thing I can say for certain, is that, the materials are of a remarkably high-quality and the level of care that went into the design of this product, makes this a masterpiece! True craftsmanship skills went into the production of this belt and I am grateful for that! The different materials have a superior, incredibly exquisite 'feel' to them and appear to be highly durable/resistant to damage + wear & tear - it's like a premium product but it is affordable; a real bargain for a great-quality support belt - I would definitely recommend this, without question! I use it all the time! (It does, inevitably, make you sweat a little underneath, but that's to be expected of a decent support belt - it's the comfort + support + relief that counts!

After tweaking my back, I bought this immediately to replace the previous version. It is a good replacement, comfortable to wear and very supportive in all the right places. It does the job.

Fits well but bit scratchy on skin. Comfortable to wear and supports lower back very well. Velcro fastening easy to attach and strong. Just hoping it eases pain from disc damage.

After having back problems all my life, I’ve tried many things. I knew I had a spasm coming on and only had a couple of days to sort it before it put me out of action for a few days. Saw this and thought I would give it a go. Absolute game changer. As soon as I put it on and adjusted the straps to fairly tight it felt like I had steel cage around my lower back. The support was incredible. I’ve worn lifting belts at the gym for over 30 years and this even beats any I’ve had before. Wearing it all day at work for 3 days and the spasm never materialised. Tried it at the gym and felt so much more confident lifting the weights. No back twinges at all. Well worth the money.

Not hugely convinced by the effectiveness of this item. It does feel like it encourages a little better posture but don’t think it’ll really do much in terms of supporting the muscles in the back. I guess I expected it to be a little more rigid. It appears well made and is comfortable to wear, though does get a little warm after a while. I’m still using for the reminder to correct my posture, but in terms of relief for lower back pain, your results may vary.

A great support belt, I've used a narrow version in the past which was ok but not great. This belt is nice and wide so offers a greater amount of support. I first put my back out around 2009 and have intermittent bouts of glass back syndrome, some last a couple of days and are more of an annoyance than anything else but some are extremely debilitating and exhausting. Last week I felt the familiar twinge and hoped it would resolve itself with some gentle stretching....unfortunately not. The absolute agony of taking one step, the near impossible feat of putting on socks and forget having a whole nights sleep! The exhaustive attempts at getting comfortable during the day. I'm not one for heading to the medicine cupboard for everything, my last bad attack led me to the chemist where I purchased the narrow belt and the pharmacist suggested taking one co-codamol prior to bed time to allow a decent nights kip. I tried one but didn't really like the idea of those. I ordered this belt on Friday and it arrived Saturday evening....I donned the belt, the first Velcro fastening held the belt fairly tight....the secondary Velcro strap really pulls it tight!!! Instantly felt my core being strengthened and the muscle spasms practically ceased and I was left with the annoyance feeling of a dull pain that is definitely tolerable compared to the stabbing pain that will drop you to the floor! Be aware that wearing it for a period of several hours will generate heat which in turn will aggravate your skin....I wore it over a t-shirt and accidentally fell asleep...when I awoke my first thought was "this is going to hurt when I try and stand up" ....didn't happen!! Was a joy to stand up without wincing, but I did notice a slight rash around my waist on the side I slept on. The other side was absolutely fine though. If you suffer with sciatica then this belt will help alleviate some of the issues.

With a back problem I've had a number of big brand-name braces, but this one is the best because of the boning. It starts to mold to your body frame (I have to wear my brace lower, starting at my belly button), so to have it "molding" and staying in place is a big plus. This is the only brace I've had that also stays in place while driving, and it doesn't ride up around my neck. Because the logo is big and clear you don't always have to jockey around to find out if it's up or down. It works in a slightly different way with the velcro but is always tight and never ever disengages. Velcro is easy to clean with a pair of tweezers. I would say that I wouldn't put it directly on my skin because of a couple of sharp edges relating to the 'logo' side, but that doesn't bother me. The support is very tight if you want it to be. I'm really happy with this since I have a closet full of useless braces that come apart or ride up or are too complicated to use.

Auf diesen Gürtel bin ich gestoßen, weil ich eigentlich nach einem Hilfsmittel / Unterstützer für meinen Vater gesucht hatte Er hat starke Rückenprobleme / Verschleißerscheinungen, die (aufgrund seines fortgeschrittenen Alters) aber nicht mehr operativ, sondern nur noch mit Schmerzmitteln behandelt werden. Er ist ein toller Mensch, allerdings leider etwas stur, wenn es darum geht, für sich selbst etwas Neues auszuprobieren - die Tabletten tun es ja auch ;) Und so bekam ich den Gürtel unversehens nach zwei Minuten anprobieren von ihm zurück mit einem verneinenden Lachen ;) Da dachte ich mir: bevor ich das gute Stück zurückschicke, kann ich es doch auch erstmal selbst ausprobieren. Denn seit früher Kindheit ist duch eine nicht erkannte Hüftfehlstellung meine Wirbelsäule sehr verkrümmt (plus Hohlkeuz) und bei stundenlangem Sitzen am Schreibtisch oder langem Stehen (z.B. vor dem Bügelbrett), merke ich immer wieder, wie ich mich in meiner "ungesunden" Haltung zunehmend verspanne. Also probierte ich den Gürtel aus und war sofort positiv überrascht von dem stabilisierenden Gefühl, das ich bekam. Nur den schwarzen, breiten Gürtel verschlossen empfand ich als "normal" - wie ich es zum Beispiel von einem Nierengurt zum Motorradfahren her kenne. Aber das Nachziehen und Festigen der schmaleren blauen Gürtelteile rechts und links, war wirklich individuell und genial. Ich stand sofort gerader, saß gerade und höher in meinem Schreibtischstuhl und fühlte mich durch diese korsettartige Stütze auch "unfähig" in meine sonst eher krumme Haltung zurückzugleiten. Sehr positiv finde ich auch, dass andere den Gürtel nicht zwangsläufig sehen können, wenn ich ihn unter einem etwas weiteren (dunklen) T-Shirt oder Pulli trage. Mein Mann entnimmt nur meiner Haltung, dass ich ihn wohl gerade tragen müsste. Einziger kleiner Negativpunkt für mich persönlich ist: Ich bin nicht die Größte und habe durch meine Wirbelsäulenkrümmung insgesamt einen verkürzten Oberkörper, so dass mir der Gürtel vorne zu breit ist. Er sitzt mir über den unteren Rippen - was nicht weiter störend oder schlimm ist - nur ich muss ihn abnehmen, wenn ich eine Mahlzeit zu mir nehmen möchte. Durch den sehr hoch gehenden Druck wäre ich ansonsten schon nach zwei Gabeln satt, bzw. hätte keine Lust mehr, etwas hinunterzuschlucken. Ich fände es super, wenn es eine Gürtelvariante gäbe, die vorne noch etwas schmaler wäre. Ansonsten trage ich den Gürtel mittlerweile (mit Baumwoll-T-Shirt o.ä. darunter wegen dem erhöhten Schwitzen der Haut), wenn ich auf den Cross-Trainer gehe, beim Joggen und wenn ich lange Tätigkeiten im Stehen oder auch im Sitzen ausführen muss. Lediglich richtiger Sport und intensive Hausarbeit gehen für mich nicht damit, da der Gürtel mich vorne in bückenden Bewegungen doch eher einschränkt und mir die Beweglichkeit nimmt. Fazit: Ich bin begeistert - übrigens auch von der schnellen Lieferung und dem freundlichen Service dazu.

No tiene mucho truco: es una faja flexible para sujetar la espalda en caso de dolores, contracturas, etc. El sistema de doble velcro hace que se pueda conseguir más sujeción sin estrujar la tripa, aliviando un poco la incomodidad que supone llevar estos artilugios. Las "ballenas" o tiras rígidas verticales intercaladas en la faja le dan un extra de rigidez y sujeción sin penalizar la comodidad, más bien al contrario. Eso sí, si está mucho tiempo sentado y según la postura -p.ej. en el escritorio- pueden acabar clavándose en el ángulo con la pierna y resultar un poco incómodas. El material, tipo neopreno, es cómodo y resistente, aunque al llevarlo necesariamente apretado conviene quitárselo de vez en cuando para no viciar la espalda y para dejar respirar un poco la piel. Lo importante es que ofrece un alivio inmediato, al apoyar la musculatura y descargarla un poco, reduciendo el dolor y ayudando a recuperarse. La única pega como digo, y sin que sea defecto del producto, es que no se puede llevar demasiado tiempo puesto porque al final puede ser contraproducente para la espalda, además de irritar la piel por estar tanto tiempo comprimida. En conjunto, muy recomendable, especialmente en esas ocasiones en que parece que te estén apuñalando por la espalda y cualquier ayuda es poca.
