The smaller flange set work great for small ears and skinny ear canals. They are comfortable under muffs, and work well, blocking loud noise but you can still hear people talk. I keep a set in my pocket or edc bag all the time. Never know when things are going to get loud.

These are my go to for hunting season! They fit amazing, I can use them and still talk and hear and then have no issues with the bang! Also if you get migraines and need something to filter out noise, these have a little red “dampeners” that you can take out to allow more noise in for better conversation or to make them safe for the workplace while still filtering out the louder noises!

Well! I'm very disappointed! This was the worst $15 I spent on something! Safariland claims that this product "Protects against impulse and impact noise. Perfect for shotgun hunting, clay sports, and range practice." Earplugs only comes in two sizes. Large and small. I tried on the large pair first. I can still clearly hear the soft music I was listening to. Played around and repositioned the earplugs and maybe I just didn't position it correctly. Nope! The small size is about the same, if not worse! Save you money and get the Howard Leight by Honeywell Laser Lite High Visibility Disposable Foam Earplugs instead!

These work pretty well. They work well for impulse noise that isn't too intense, like hammering and banging. At the range, they work pretty well while using handguns, and lower powered rifles like .22 LR. I put a pair of overears over them when using higher powered rifles. You can still hear conversations. Also I would use something else for extremely loud sustained noise.

Adequate for outside ranges, dint quite cut it indoors, I take them off and go to my electronic muffs.
