A bit pricy but worth it for the innovative design... These are so easy to use. Love that I can easily scoop from loose leaf tin or bag, close, steep, pull out and open to dispose of the leaves. I don't want to use any other annoying tball again.

I am not a tea drinker so it comes as a surprise that I even came to buy this. Let me explain. Over the course of my years I have enjoyed many different types of caffeinated beverages both hot and cold, and while a cold glass of unsweetened iced tea refreshes like nothing else, the hot ones always seemed to lack. I have roasted my own coffee and used about every method available to brew it, but as I get up in the years I like coffee less and less. Eventually I came to yerba mate. This loose leaf product comes from South America and being the person I am I of course went for all the traditional methods to steep it. Problem? Well, it's messy. So I looked into different tea methods and came across the long handle tea infuser. It was a life changer. The ball is so easy to use and clean and gives me the exact measured amount each and every time, so it provides consistent strength and flavor. I open the ball, stick it in the bag, fill the scoop and twist close. It's just that simple. Perfect yerba mate each and every time. After enjoying my cup of mate I just set it on a paper towel to drain the excess fluid and later open the ball and dump the contents into the trash. Rinse and repeat. I highly recommend this for any loose leaf steeping and hope you find it as pleasing. It is well made, and I figure will last a very long time. It's inexpensive. It works. It's easy to use and clean. It doesn't get any better than that.

I use it to dust powdered sugar on baked goods. Works very well.
