Great resource!
I have read most of Dr. Natasha Campbell McBride‘s books, and this book is essential to the understanding and applying the gaps protocol. It is written to help to navigate through the Protocol with success.

So helpful!
I especially appreciate the practical guidance this book provides for overcoming various obstacles to implementing the GAPS protocol. The author also provides very helpful explanations that cleared up things I didn't understand correctly when I was starting GAPS. Her writing style is very readable and she provides very effective guidance on how to succeed at adopting the GAPS lifestyle. Her personal experience with overcoming mental health issues was tremendously inspiring!Ms. Lashkov's book provides a wealth of useful information, helpful tips, instructions, recommendations, and relevant resources compiled from her own experience and from the shared experiences of others who have had good results with GAPS.The GAPS protocol has brought amazing improvement in my health, and Baden Lashkov's book contributed significantly to learning how to put it into practice.

Details of the process and what to expect.
I'm a Holistic Nutrition Practitioner and have researched and tried many programs but nothing with the deep and long lasting results that I have found with this program. This book has some amazing detailed information on GAPS a must read before starting the program. I went through the program without having enough information and had lots of detoxing so it was hard but I stayed on the program and will continue being on it. I feel so much healthier than I have felt in years. No arthritis pain, no upper and lower tummy pain. Immune system is stronger so less upper respiratory problems and many other health issues that were pestering me as a senior. The best information along with the book GAPS by Dr. Campbell-McBride

Blessing in the Interim
This book was a blessing for us, because our daughter was "apparently" allergic to practically everything and we had no idea what to feed her. While we searched for a solution, at least we had a guide on what to feed her in the interim. Unfortunately, we later discovered that our daughter was not really allergic to everything, just calcium, animal fat, and starches/alcohols. Sadly, this diet is very high in animal fats and her reaction was fierce! We discovered an acupressure treatment that has, hopefully, cured her allergies. Once we complete the detox phase, we will try this diet again...

Gaps Guide and Gut and Psychology Syndromes by Dr Campbell McBride are saving my life.
The way to cure the causes of health issues; starting from the guts! There is no better way to cure yourself but it is a lot of work. I've been doing it for 2 months and my health has improved a little already. The "moto" here is to go very. very slowly with incorporating food and most of all fermentation/probiotics otherwise the die-off is way too strong. every bit of food you try out is a go low and slow. Before starting the diet, read the book at least twice, it is a lot of information to take in all at once and to put in practice. The author is wonderful and you can communicate with her on her site if you have any issues or question. Many thanks to Baden Lashkov's support!

As much as I liked this book I still prefer the book called LOW ...
I thought it was a well written book with plenty of advice and very helpful. If one takes time to study the steps slowly allowing it to become a life style it works. As much as I liked this book I still prefer the book called LOW FOD-MAP Diet which also tells one how to heal Bowels and such body issues much more clearly and more easily understood. I had excellent results in four months and still improving.

Fills in the "GAPS" along with Dr. Natasha's book
My doctor recommended the GAPS Guide in addition to Dr. Campbell-McBride's book. After reading Dr. Campbell-McBride's book first, I was quite overwhelmed with the GAPS program. There are so many restrictions and rules that left me confused. Once I started reading GAPS Guide 2nd Edition, I began to be able to piece the program together. Explanations are made about the how, why, and what for GAPSters, in gentle layman's terms that were easier for me to understand than Dr. Campbell-McBride's writing. I highly recommend this book if you are starting the GAPS program.

Highly recommend it.
A perfect companion to the more intimidating Gut and Psychology Syndrome: Natural Treatment for Autism, Dyspraxia, A.D.D., Dyslexia, A.D.H.D., Depression, Schizophrenia This book makes you transition INTO the GAPS diet with a very practical approach which consist in adding GAPS food gradually instead of going head first. This maximizes your chances of success with the GAPS diet and makes the whole switch a whole lot manageable and doable.Highly recommend it.

Please buy! It's a treasure trove of practical information
Highly recommended for everyone who wants to improve their health using the GAPS program developed by Dr Natasha. A very practical method, step by step guidance, easy small steps, especially useful for those with low energy, ME etc. who find the thought of any changes too difficult.

Would strongly recommend this book if you become overwhelmed easily like me
Life changing, a lot of work involved but this book takes you through very slowly. Would strongly recommend this book if you become overwhelmed easily like me.

Simple and informative!
We haven't really followed the full gaps yet. It did help us to change our diet to a more healthy one. This book is a great reminder of what our food should be and that we can make so many different foods in our kitchen! I did not follow the guide about the probiotics other than the ones that come in fermented food which i trust more.
