Decent pickleball bats for beginners at a reasonable price. They are lightweight and felt comfortable to play with.

These are a great purchase, we now no longer have to use the rubbish ones at the leisure centre, makes the bame so much more enjoyable, we've used these for roughly 8 hours now, they have stood up to the task well. 1 ball cracked, but that happens, the main thing is, the paddles are of good quality. Definitely worth the money.

Basic paddles, does the job, great for beginner

For anyone who's not yet tried Pickleball - grab one of these and give it a try it. IT'S SUCH GOOD FUN!For £70-odd with a voucher you get 4 really well made, high quality fibreglass paddles and 4 good strong plastic balls (2 indoor and 2 outdoor). Also provided is a nice bag to put it all in.The paddles have a really good finish to them and look fantastic. The handles are solid, with a tennis racquet-style tape that gives good grip, and apparently the paddles and balls are even competition certified for tournaments.In use, the paddles and balls are perfect. You need virtually no skill to play, and it doesn't need a court or anything special - just have a game in the garden, on the beach, wherever. You could also of course join a club and play more seriously as it's becoming a popular sport. All in all it's just brilliant fun!As you can tell, we really love this Pickleball set and have no doubt it will give us endless hour of family fun.

I ordered this set of 4 pickleball paddles and balls as I have just taken up playing pickleball and needed a set of paddles.The paddles have a 70’s vibe with their retro coloured stripes and mid-brown colouring. The handles are comfortable and soft to hold, with the textured surface offering a better grip. The main part of the paddle feels like balsa wood to the touch, but the product page states they are made of fibreglass.The set includes 4 paddles and 4 balls, 2 for indoor play and 2 for outdoor play. You also get a pickleball bag with a handy inside zipped pocket big enough to hold a set of keys and a small phone. The shoulder strap is adjustable and the zip has two fasteners, but the bag itself feels a little cheap when compared with the quality of the paddles.

This is a nice set, with two bats and four balls in a good carrying bag.The bats are mid size and you get two indoor balls and two outdoor.I particularly like the soft grip on the bats. I have three other bats and these have the most comfortable grip.I am not sure about the seventies styling! PB was invented in 1965 so perhaps this is what the bats looked like in the seventies?A good set.
