The media could not be loaded. I've been very happy with this machine. So far it's performed very well, making accurate cuts and strips on my wire.I purchased as a backup for an old Eubanks 2600 cutting/stripping machine that is about 40 years old and no longer serviceable, although it still works. A new Eubanks is $15k, and I wasn't ready to spend that much. I looked online for alternatives and found this style of machine, which seems to be made or marketed by several Chinese companies. I ended up finding this brand on Amazon, which was much, much cheaper than the Eubanks. For the money and Amazon's return policy it was well worth the gamble to see if it would work for us.I have also had a very good experience with customer service, the have been quick to respond getting me the answers I needed.One thing that may be a problem for some people is the manual is a little difficult to understand. I was able to adjust the settings of the machine and get it running without calling customer service, but I have many years experience with wire cutting machines and I have a better idea of how to interpret the instruction manual, labels on the machine and menu on the display. If this is your first time ever using a wire cutting/stripping machine, it will probably be a bit challenging to get it set up. Even with that, from my experience with their customer service, so far, I think they will be able to help you and get you going. I did also need to purchase a wire feeding machine, as the spools of wire that I use were too heavy for the machine to feed directly. There was one option on Amazon from the same manufacturer so I ordered that one. Before fulfilling the order, Lynn with customer service emailed to verify that feeder would work with the spools I used. After some back and forth, I decided that a larger feeder would be better and ordered that directly from them as that model was not available on Amazon. That purchase wend smoothly, just a bit of a wait for the long boat ride. The wire feeder worked great right out of the crate. I took a look at the inside drive assembly for the feeder and was impressed of the quality of parts they used. I would say the motor and gear drive are overbuild.

Wire Machine does a great job, is precise and quick. Setup out of the box is not too complicated, the youtube video does a great job showing what to do. There is enough general information given from the video to figure out how to get in the right direction from some trial and error with your specific wires.

Box came DESTROYED. Missing parts (probably fell out holes in box). Poorly packaged. On the bright side, my friend bought one that didn’t come destroyed and it works great.
