For the price, it’s a solid choice for DIY enthusiasts, especially those looking to tackle engine cylinder honing without breaking the bank.The biggest advantage of this set is its versatility. It comes with hones that can accommodate cylinder sizes from 3/4" up to 7", making it suitable for both small wheel cylinders and larger engine cylinders. It actual has four honing stone sizes (1-1/8" (2 & 3 legged), 2", 3", and 4") which gives you flexibility, and the handy case keeps everything organized and easy to store. This is a great tool for DIY projects or for occasional use where you don’t need professional-grade equipment.That said, there are a few drawbacks. This kit isn’t of professional quality, and you can definitely feel that in the build. The hone plates have a fair bit of play, and some are held in place with fairly weak pins, which could affect precision during use. Additionally, the set doesn't come with any instructions, which could be frustrating for beginners or those unfamiliar with honing tools.Overall, if you’re looking for an affordable, versatile kit for occasional DIY engine work, this set is a good choice. However, if you need professional-grade precision or durability, you might want to look elsewhere.

After using, the hones do work as they should, and leave a decent finish. BUT BE CAREFUL. The threaded end piece is very thin, like sheet metal. As such it doesn’t have a lot of surface area to grip the threads and the springs provide a decent amount of pressure. When I removed the zip tie that comes on it, the front end of the hone popped off shooting across the room and almost hit my dog.

Does what it is supposed to. Has multiple sizes for whatever project you need it for.

Gave this a try on a lawn mower I've been fixing and since I've never used one of these cylinder honers before I'm unsure of how well it performed. From the outcome i feel it executed the task at hand pretty well since it didn't cause any scaring of the cylinder walls and it resulted in a very smooth and even cylinder hone. The honing pads held up very well and could certainly perform many many more honing. Haven't done much price comparisons but i feel at this price its gonna be hard to beat.

These seem to be really high quality. The stones seem like they will last a long time. The threads are smooth. The spring functions great for adjustability. Really good hones
