The context for the 5 star rating starts with price. One can buy a more robust and heavier pair of scale and pay twice the price, but the Escali Primo scales are accurate, easy to clean, stylish, nicely put together and robust enough for the purpose. That they use AA batteries is a plus, as is paying half the price of my previous scales.UPDATE: Since I bought these scales they have been completely reliable. Today, I dropped the scales on our ceramic kitchen floor with one hell of a bang. The battery cover flew off and the batteries came out. I put scales back in one piece with crossed fingers. They work flawlessly. Good stuff.

upgraded from some salter mechanical basket scales to these and it was the best twenty odd quid I have spent.They look better, are smaller/neater, more accurate and easier to use. Since I use them every day the quality of life improvements made them worth every penny.

I really like the scale, my one is pretty accurate! Only thing is, it feels a little cheap probably because it's so light. However, the performance is top.

Great little scale’s

These scales have replaced my salter scales which died due to accidentally being knocked into water. I’m very pleased that they did! These new scales are much better. When I weigh an item the digits stay the same, no waiting for the scales to “catch up”. The digits are a good size, larger than my old ones. They seem to be accurate too. I’ve not had them long, hope they last a long time.

So I have been looking for a good kitchen scale. I tried analog as well as digital. Nothing worked or it was too big. Then I found this one (that god for Amazon!) and it not only works but it is lightweight.I have used it to weight chick peas, beans, flour and sugar (particularly for british recipes). I love the tare feature. I can put a sauce pan right on it and it works!I highly recommend this scale for any serious baker or cook!Note that I bought a unit in Pink.

The batteries supplied were dead. I spent a lot of time thinking it was my fault that the scales did not work.

Pay the little bit more, get this scale. It’s fast, easy to clean, accurate, simple to use. Just get this one

Alta precisao para confeitaria. Mas nao para pesar de 0g a 10g. Mas acima disso muito precisa
