Works very well.
I bought two different brands of trackpads. This one and a different brand. The other brand didn’t always recognize my fingers and often just jumped around the screen and refused to go where I wanted it to. Now to this brand, it worked awesome. It is very easy to set up and very responsive. A good value for the money. Highly recommend.

Accurate, big surface area, well built. LOVE IT!
I couldn't be happier with this. I'm not big on "boxing / packaging" but man, even that impressed me.I plugged it into my laptop and it worked right away.It is very big, and very accurate.I have arthritis in my thumbs and I should have bought this LOOOOONG AGOOOOO!I might buy another one because I use both my right and left hands for "mousing".

Good trackpad, a few drawbacks
Works well overall but I had to do some things about it to improve my experience. The tap experience on it is a bit hit-or-miss, so sometimes when taps wouldn't register as clicks I had to move down to the actual button area to get a click in. Most of the time it works though.Gestures work well overall, for instance two-finger scrolling, pinch-to-zoom, or three-finger swipes to minimize everything/restore everything/switch apps.On a multi-monitor setup, this trackpad is a little low on DPI. If you are in this environment, no matter how fast you set your Windows mouse settings, it may not be fast enough. What you can do is to install a little tool called CustomCurve. This will let you set much faster acceleration settings. If, like me, you also have a mouse, and it gets too fast for the mouse, make sure your mouse has its own DPI controls. A lot of Logitech mice have such a capability, so you can compensate for what you do in CustomCurve. The biggest issue I ran into with this trackpad was USB disconnection issues, where I'd need to unplug and re-plug in the trackpad. I have an Anker hub, which also has some high-bandwidth devices on it. I ended up switching to plugging the ProtoArc T1 into a different hub, from Rosonway. With this hub it has been ultra-stable. I don't know if it's due to contention with high-bandwidth devices (SSDs and webcam) or due to fundamental chipset compatibility issues. I replaced the first trackpad due to this issue, but when the second one manifested the issue, I decided to look closer at where I plugged it in.I reached out to ProtoArc about this, recommending they debug with the Anker hub. They suggested plugging directly into the computer (I had already solved it by using the other hub though), and then recommended their Reddit forum. I don't know that they're interested in debugging the problem, so I want other buyers to know how to approach the problem should you have it.Other than the above, this is a good trackpad and I do recommend it. I'm coming from a long history of using ContourDesign RollerMouse devices, and this makes a decent replacement especially with the CustomCurve tweak for when you need to cursor rapidly across multiple monitors. It also helps to have good but low mousepads on either side if you arrange this centrally in front of your keyboard. I got some memory foam pads from UnivoColors and they're low enough not to obstruct access down to the trackpad.

Not worth the 50$ price
I bought this with the intention of using it for music as I am used to using a laptop and wanted a track pad for PC.Pros: Touch/Feel/SizeCons: PerformanceCutting to the point this product feels like it needs better software or feedback I have to tap multiple times for it to register while working too often it made me write this review. I've used many laptop trackpads over the years and know how they vary and this one has a good touch/feel but a bad performance when it comes down to it it Is Not worth the price Unless you just want a big track pad.

It isn’t all it is cracked up to be
Bought this to help with overall hand position since I use my computer for work all day. It started out pretty good with some nuance here and there (I am used to a trackpad with my Mac). But it kept going downhill from there over time. The mouse began freezing up requiring me to unplug and plug back in to “reset”. Over time the frequency with which I was having to do this became frustrating and unacceptable. I unplugged it and am searching for an alternative solution.
