Good Teaching Aid For Reptile Study
This is a decent replica of a Rough Green Snake. The detailed model is flexible. I used this particular example to help teach children about snakes. It definitely aided in sparking their interest and made the study much more meaningful for them.

Realistic, but not terrifying
Before Christmas this year, my three year old daughter became fixated on getting a toy snake for the holiday. I don't know what put the idea in her head, I just knew I had to do something about it. I bought her both Safari LTD Incredible Creatures Rough Green Snake and TY BB 2.0 Slithery-Snake, figuring she'd prefer the Beanie Baby. However, this one was definitely her favorite. Other family members bought her snakes as well, but they were scarier creatures with fangs--she likes this snake (I'm assuming) because it is less intimidating than her other ones. She also likes the rubbery texture, even though it feels like rubber and not like a real, scaly snake (she doesn't know the difference anyway!). A great toy snake for any child.

I used this snake in my vegetable garden to scare off rodents. I live in the mtns in CO and so far this summer have not had a rodent problem that exsisted last year. I think its working pretty well...I guess that speaks to the realistic look of this snake. I've scared a few friends who have come over to look at the garden and were surprised buy the coiled up snake in the garden bed.

I bought more than one...It actually scared me the other day when walking by.....moves like a snake when held by the tail or head...Cool....

"Why'd it have to be SNAKES?"
Bought the three best-rated snakes for a 10-year old for our Indiana Jones-themed Christmas party. This is the best of the bunch. Will try to post a photo later. They are all smaller than expected, despite reading the dimensions... Hopefully he won't mind!

Ok, but not great.
It's not as realistic as one would hope for, but it still looks good. It's not easy to fool someone in good lighting and the snake stays in its preset form.
