Q: will this link with the sig sauer BDX software?

Yes , it will work I used it to pair to the sig BDX 3000 binos. The connection is very fast And stable. Click bino and range , Kestrel sends info to bino display for drop and displays in kestrel too. Good combo !

Yes indeed, just make sure you have both the sig and the kestrel apps open and keep your current selected rifle updated. Once you’re connected just take a reading with the kestrel and it will automatically send the data to the scope

Shows real time wind speed at the kestrel, not down range .

Q: does this unit come with a case for it?

Hi, The Elite comes with a draw string pouch. There are Kestrel cases available separately which the meter will fit in to.
