They are great for mixed media pieces that you can layer them on top and the colors are distinctive and vibrant. I love this brand!

Used them for coloring/drawing on grip tape, something that usually destroys markers super quickly, but these held up against all odds! Definitely my favorite brand of markers for grip tape art!

Hads down best markers ever!!! I bought them for my mom as well and she loves them! They are smooth bright and easy to use and last forever!!!

These finally came and its almost perfect! It came in a plastic case which protected the markers very well, not to mention the individually wrapped markers themselves. The markers were lighter that I thought they would be, but they all work well so I don't mind that much. One shocking thing to find out was that it shredded the watercolor sketchbook paper after trying to fill in a swatch. I'm cheap so I'm currently using a canson watercolor sketchbook, and I am slightly heavy handed, but using other markers and such has never affected the paper like that unless purposely trying to rip it. It was an easy fix, just try to be careful with using them on paper. The colors themselves were great, all of them are so bright and fun to use. I did some layering tests and it is very opaque. If you go over the ink/paint with another marker right after using another color, then you can get a very very Very slight blend between the two colors, but its extremely streaky and not even through out. In this set you get a lovely warm saturated brown, a very peachy light orange(my favorite), a very pale yellow ivory, and another very warm beige. This isn't dubbed as a skin tone set so I can't get that mad over it, but I wish that there was more skin color variety either in this set or in the larger set with the dark red and blush color. I didn't get that set because I didn't think I would need the extra white and wine red. Maybe a mix between the brown and ivory could be a nice mid shade. But I digress I'm complaining too much. To conclude, these markers are great, pretty opaque, somewhat limited brown selection,kinda light, still lovely anyway. Can't wait for my next set to come tomorrow!

I absolutely love these pens. Only downside is I wish they had more colors. These are the industry standard for paint pens. The vast majority of my favorite paint pen artists use this brand.
